The young Russians won the traditional prestigious World U17 Challenge defeating Finland 2-1 in the Gold medal game, Sweden took the bronze beating Canada "Red" team 4-3 after the penalty shoot-out.

No medal for host Canada is a huge surprise all 3 teams finished 4th, 5th and 6th, but even bigger flop occured to the USA who finished 8th dead last of the tournament behind the Czech team.

First season´s win after first very watchable and very good performance :yes We are right now really one of the best teams in Penalty Killing in the world, clearly visible the huge work and mentality of Craig Ramsey ! Just fantastic TEAM defensive play during opponents power plays...but in other hand, the lack of real and decisive shooters in our hockey is more than alarming...we need million attempts to score one goal...we really have to find strikers for the world championships because this could really easily become our death, in this tournament our shooting efficiency must be around 5-6% if not even lower... total disaster

3rd win against Germany in Deutschland Cup in last 3 years. Is also something noticeable :yes, but overall only 3rd place is not what we were aiming here...

Yes, go Medveščak!

Although I consider myself to be fairly neutral since I am for example completely clueless when it comes to current league standings. :p
