I've said it before and i'll say it again, i love these night slaloms (events) in the work week. They have a special feel and look and i can just lay back, relax and watch with much more concentration than on the weekend. It's almost like having a Champions League match. FIS are really missing a big chance, for not making regular events out of this. And not only alpine, you can do it with snowboard, freestyle too. They can get much more attention in this timeslot, than on the crowded weekend.

This is why slalom is the best discipline, where else will you find a Spaniard, 2 Bulgarians, a Japanese and a Belgian infront of the best Austrian in an alpine skiing race. Great to see more countries but also what a disaster for Austria today.
