A further 8 spots (two teams) were to be awarded to the fourth/fifth ranked team at the Pan American Mixed relay Championships, but no other eligible teams finished. Not sure how these spots will be reallocated now.

Peruvian male swimmer actually ended 12th at the qualification event, but was awarded the eighth slot (host nation). Colombia, Uruguay and Bolivia failed to qualify an athlete.

Still 3 teams to qualify: one from Central America (4 teams still in competition) one from North America (Mexico v. USA) and a final spot to be named.

Compared to the lists on the wikipedia and the World Cup standings, Yakubovskiy is missing 20 points from Hamar in the men's mass start. And the host quotas weren't moved up in the time rankings from the reserve lists to the last qualifying spots.

  Well 2030 is secured for India who won’t dare cancel like South Africa because that will affect their long term aims of hosting the Olympics and Football World Cup. 2034 has offers and by 2038 Australia might host again.
