After conclusion of 2018 Pan American Championships.

As with Olympic qualification rules, an athlete who already got a quota place for his/her NOC, either at this event or at the previous qualifiers, could not be awarded another quota place.

11 quotas (8 in women's events & 3  in men's) could not been distributed. Also, 2 wildcards left for non qualifyinf NOC's.

So, last week's championships were used as the qualifier instead of next year's? If so, I'll add the quotas later on :d

I'm confused. First they say it is the top 7 (+1 host) athletes for each gender of the LAST Pan Am Wakeboard Championship in the Open division.

Then in the table of events, it clearly says top 2 of the 2017 championships and top 5 (LCQ) of the 2018 championships :mumble:

Yes, there's a contradiction (as with other sports :zip:) in the rules: however either they consider the first or second criteria, the same countries qualify:

Wakeboard (Water Ski)

After conclusion of 2018 Kiteboarding North American Championships.

Since this will be an open competition, quotas obtained in men's standings take precedence over those in the women's event; therefore, 2 quotas originally awarded to women, will be reallocated to NOC's competing at the Kiteboarding South American; however qualification document doesn't clarify if the redistributed places will come from the men's or women's races.

Canada will send a "C" team in swimming, sad because they sent an A team on home soil. :wall:

Sad news indeed; with this C team will struggle to even win a medal; better not to send a team at all.
