I want literally everyone at Curling Canada to be fired.

A public execution may be needed.

I'm sick of Canadian announcers talking about the world catching up.  No one forced Jones to miss that easy shot in the Swiss game to lose.  No one forced her team to miss 8 shots in a row against China.  No one made the mixed doubles forget how to play curling suddenly.  They just played badly.  A 15 year old at the local rink could have made those shots.

For the second time in a row :CAN fails to make the playoffs in women’s curling. Fundamental change to how the sport is run in Canada has to happen ASAP. We just aren’t competitive in curling anymore (forget not being the best), and that’s not acceptable given we have more than 90% of all players in the world.

I find it so fascinating how the Swiss team decided to totally regroup and reformat after a disappointing 2018. That's what Canada needs to stay competitive here. One quad where an underperformance is a miss another is a problem. They need to rebuilt the system - the same old is not working.

Yeah, but you’ve got all the pétanque players.  Just need to convert a few (easy enough) & get them off the pastis (very difficult).

The 4th spot will be between and . The points difference is 2 points in favour of Chile, but Samoa qualified for the SF and Chile not. If the points awarded in this tournament is the same as the rest of the other events (its not clear yet),  will need a 2 position advantage, meaning that if they win one of the two matches they have tomorrow they will go to LA, or if they lose both matches and Chile lose at least one out of the two. In the case Samoa lose both and Chile wins both, there would be a tie (and i dont know the criteria there really).     In the Women`s, ,  and  qualified to the SF so therefore they are also qualified for LA. If  wins their first match tomorrow and  not,  qualifies. In case  wins too, the next match of each team is crucial, Thailand needs to win and Colombia to lose.
