The ball was pushed down with his arm. It may be dumb, it may be bad luck, fact is it severely influenced the situation and really the only possible option was a penalty. They'd definitely give a penalty if it was for example the 75th minute, there's zero reason to do anything different just because it was literally the first minute.

I'm not really a Liverpool fan but my first memory of a European final was Liverpool winning the European Cup so It's always fun to see them win another one #neverwalkalone
