phelps 7,429 Posted May 28 #113 Share Posted May 28 (edited) the advantage of being WR no.1... in the women's -48kg class, Scutto has to face the winner of Tsunoda vs Boukhli already in the semis (not to mention that the Japanese and the French girl have to face each other already in the quarterfinals) in the women's -52kg, Uta Abe is not among the seeded players (top 8) good luck to any other girl for the draw in the women's -57kg, vs Funakubo in the quarters and then Deguchi in the semis...draw really unbalanced the big duel vs is gonna happen quite a few times in the quarterfinals in the women's -78kg, Wagner and Takayama in the same quarter and in the opposite half of Bellandi...that's good, very good for us in the women's +78kg, Dicko and Tomita on the opposite side of the draw...unfortunately Tavano is 8th and will get the French super-woman in the quarterfinals (however, she already beat Dicko at last year's world champs...who knows?) in the men's -60kg, vs and vs in the same half of the draw...good for those on the opposite side in the men's -66kg (RUS) Murad Chopanov is the last qualified athlete...he's just another mega-danger in draw in the men's -73kg, Hashimoto and Shavdatuashvili are also in the same quarterfinal pool in the men's -81kg, Casse vs Nagase is the most fascinating quarterfinal on paper in the men's -90kg, the idiot Parlati will pay a very big prize to his attitude...he's gone down to 8th place (by the misery of 8 points) and now he's in the same quarterfinal pool with Bekauri...let's see if another wasted Olympic tournament will be useful by 2028 in the men's super-Heavyweights, Riner is in the same quarter with Tasoev and semi with Saito...he's gonna have to win gold way before the final match and the Olympic Champion Krpalek is not among the seeded players...the draw might make things very, very interesting Edited May 28 by phelps CCB and Josh 1
prso1000 575 Posted May 29 #114 Share Posted May 29 (edited) Does someone know how the reallocation process for direct quotas work. Let’s say someone in Top 17 declines a quota for whatever reason, who will get it? assuming rank 18 in that category has a continental quota already and rank 19 no quota. if they give to rank 18 that could change all the cont. quotas or? copravolley 127 Posted May 29 #117 Share Posted May 29 (edited) Can Parlati add anything else in his poinst result? He didn't start much due to injury in last months. Maybe it's will be good think? He has only 8 points less from Turk- 7 in ranking. Edited May 29 by copravolley

dobar_73 16 Posted May 30 #120 Share Posted May 30 Announced their team, even though qualifiers are not yet done, Nikolić u48 Perišić u57 Žabić +78 Bunčić u66 Majdov u90 Kukolj u100 All who you would expect through ranking, but the thing is that Bunčić is in the Continental Quota and there are still Opens to go. He is one of the lower ones and could fall out depending on a vast variety of circumstances. These circumstances hopefully won't happen, but thought I might just mention it.
