Well the so called bubble is obviously boomed out. Fans and media can obviously cross the bubble interview and take photos with athletes upon arrival at the Tokyo airport. Our mainstream media firstly obey the rules and restrain themselves from interviewing athletes. But after seeing other media interviewing they complained a little while but joining the interviewing squad at the end. The bubble is in your heart. It only exists if you choose to.

I think all 14 gold medals in weightlifting are relatively safe picks :d

at least these one are very safe, 8 gold medals for China + 1 for Talakhadze

I hope it true but there always some unexpected drama happen in OG so China never make it above 5 before. But I really hope they can make it this time.

I have updated the number of quotas for the countries, but I have not done for each country by sport, it takes a lot of time. I will try as soon as I have free time

the website can show NOC entries by sports, but not exact consistent with the page showing all athletes names because even the official site confused about the counting of P athletes of team sports, sometimes included while sometimes excluded.

The stripes don't look good. What are the women wearing. Is it traditional Chinese dress or is it what I think it is  ?

Some people say it’s not the ceremony uniform. Women’s dress is nothing special for me, it’s some ordinary dress with some Chinese elements painting on it. It’s called blue and white porcelain. Still I don’t like it.

during the opening ceremony, will there be heads of state or not?

I only know Macron, other states will send some representatives other than heads of state. China will send vice premier.

I also kinda hope that we will boycott the opening ceremony or only send the flag bearers. It's just not the worth the risk. If the number of positive cases among arriving delegation members continue to increase, IOC should considering having a virtual Parade of Nations, we shouldn't lose athletes because of the ceremony.

This is also what I am concerned. Being flag bearer is kinda emotional burden for athletes. So I will not be surprised if we choose some “random” athletes to be flag bearer and all others absent.

:HKG 39 (46 with alternates)

The list in the attachement in the bottom of this article https://www.hkolympic.org/archive/press-release/?currentPage=0&id=627

Edit: wrong counts lol

It should be 41 official athletes, 46 with alternatives. The cycling should be 5, there are 3 team members not deciding which two are official and who is alternative, but at least two of them are official. @Benolympique
