btw, ISA is accelerating the competition at main round... today we will have the surfers advancing to ROUND 4! already. So, who already lost in any heat will have a marathon on next days.

End of the day for women... those are the surfers still in contender for olympic quotas:   Teresa Bonvalot Yolanda Sequeira Mahina Maeda Pauline Ado Leilani Mcgonagle

Another day is gone, here the NOC still in race (main round + repechage)    Men's  3x  2x  1x   Women's  3x 2x  1x

This competition will give the last 12 spots to Tokyo. 5 men and 7 women

There will be 52(or 51, it is not clear yet) nations competing in El Salvador.

Despite the winners from 2019 games have yet a chance to lose their quotas, some of them are already 100% safe.

According to the start list of the event. Bianca Buitendag :RSA and Billy Stairmand :NZL cannot lose their places in Tokyo anymore.

Also, Jordy Smith :RSA, Kolohe Andino :USA, John John Florence :USA, Kelly Slater :USA, Seth Moniz :USA and Lakey Peterson :USA should participate at this event as a mandatory rule from the qualification system. However, if they proof the incapacity of take part on it, they will be allowed to compete in Tokyo. (Seth, Kelly and Lakey are alternate)

Another interesting point is from :NED team. Eveline Hooft was the second best european at 2019 games and consequently the reserve of Anat Lelior :ISR to Olympics. She is injured, so she will not take part on this tournament. Her only chance to get a ticket to Tokyo, now, is supporting Lelior to get another ticket, and give to her the previous one.

Yeah, I know

As I said, those are the candidates imo. I don't believe in any surfer outside of this list getting quota. If this happens will be a surprise, but not impossible, like Boukhiam getting a quota in 2019.

Pauline and Vahine are strong contenders to get a quota. I believe one of them will make it.

Keep in mind that France only can add one more individual to its women's team.

It's a big failure if we don't pick a quota in the men's.

If Lucca Messinas :PER qualifies again, Leandro Usuna will get the quota from Panamerican Games
