truly, truly unsportsmanlike, disgusting behaviour by Danil Lavrentev during and after the gold medal match of the men's -73kg he should have been DQed already during the fight and instead he was allowed to play the dirtiest game and win an undeserved gold medal first, and then he also taunted his opponent after the end of the match (which should have resulted once again in a DQ) but he just got a simple verbal warning for all of that given that also the previous times he faced Manuel Lombardo in a couple of last year Gran Slam's GMMs he didn't act fair at all (in one of the fights he intentionally tried to break Lombardo's arm, luckily without success), IJF and EJU shouldn't be so soft on him...as he's not only an instigator, but also dangerous to his opponents him before it's too late and he ruins someone's career

Don't know if World Canoeing are going to continue with their "Let's make sure no-one watches the Sport" strategy this year, but there's a European Cup meet from Slovenia this weekend.
