  1. Hamšík is in China, Weiss was the one who was trolling in the gulf. Yeah, maybe, but still too much nation´s sport responsibilty and pressure at 25 when you are basically alone in the whole country to face it
  2. we really do not have much world or even europe class athletes, summer or winter sports combined, so, it is understandable that we protect and "pamper" our only jewel. but yeah she must face also so big pressure and responsibility on her shoulder, that is really insane for a still so young girl
  3. Yep, Vlhová´s journey in the WC is obviously one of the RTVS priorities, so we have all the informations from first hand Thoma the Italian coach of the team was tested positive, and since the new FIS Covid-19 protocole forbids the whole team to compete in the stage if one of the given team (athlete or coach or even supporting staff) was positive. This started a war, Brignone or even Pinturault already have loudly opposed this protocol and are calling for an change of this rule before the next stage. FIS in the other side argue that no team was opposed when this decision was approved during the last meeting. BTW: If you are interested about some news From Petra camp, she has a new private plane this season only for her and her team, which will transport them between the individual resorts.
  4. our reporter claims otherwise. Only the coach was reportedly positive. Swenn-Larson was not allowed to race only on the basis of the new covid-19 protocol, despite the fact that she had 5 negative tests in the last 10 days.
  5. Slovakia Team announced for the opening stages. Since we have only 3 quotas in both genders, The M Team will be represented by Tomáš Hasilla, Michal Šíma and Šimon Bartko. (After the retirement of Martin Otčenáš any point this season will be a success) The W Team will be represented by Paulína Fialková, Ivona Fialková and Henrieta Horvátová. (The 2nd Post-Kuzmina season will be again a sign of hopes of Slovak biathlon fans inserted on the Fialková sisters shoulders, mainly on the older one "Paja" nowadays clear SVK biathlon number 1) In Relays the teams will be supplemented by Matej Baloga and Veronika Machyniaková.
  6. same blood, different countries... Czechs & Slovaks distant cousins of a dysfunctional european family
  7. I think it was only a matter of time. there was absoltely no chance of this event taking place in Belarus. The pressure from Latvia was enormous. BLR players and fans can blame only Lukashenko for this.

  12. !!! The World Championships will not be in Belarus ! The 2021 World Hockey Championships were originally scheduled to be co-organized by Belarus and Latvia, but recent reports from the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) suggest that this will not be the case. Journalist Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News reported on Thursday evening that the IIHF plans to take away the next championship from Belarus and assign it to Russia. The second venue of the championship - Riga, Latvia - has not changed yet. The Slovak Preliminary A-group thus will not be played in Minsk, but very probably in Moscow. Ryan Kennedy informed that IIHF President René Fasel has already communicated the topic with Vladislav Tretiak, President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. The relocation of the hockey championship from Belarus to Russia is due to concerns about the safety of tournament participants and fans, as an independent report commissioned by the IIHF in September highlighted legitimate concerns about the current environment in Belarus and also expressed skepticism about coronavirus spread. At the same time, it criticized the measures to deal with the pandemic. The World Hockey Championships are scheduled to take place from May 21 to June 6 next year.
