And obviously, give credit where credit is due. Mikaela Shiffrin won tonight her 47th WC Slalom careers race breaking the legendary Stenmark record. Unbelievable achievement for sure. Now on the Beijing star wars battle

It is Olympic season, Usually there not more than 8-9 slaloms in the Olympic year. This time there 9. Today was already the 7th, whch is quite a lot considering we are 11th January...Also winning a globe the 11th January must be also a premiere... anyway, I would also be more than happy if they schedulled more slaloms this season, but it is how it is, we have the Olympics this time, so we got 9 in the world cup

Rakúsko, Lotyšsko, Nemecko a Ruský olympijský výbor majú k dispozícii maximálny počet desať miesteniek. Slovensko má istotu dvoch pretekárov a jednej pretekárky i jednej dvojice. Rekord drží so šiestimi účasťami Erik Vlček. OLYMPIC.SK

Yes, right I totally forgot about Snowboard Cross, that is at least 2 strong medals chances, W and Mixed. Ice Dance should be a lock for sure, just did not want to jinx them and avoid any eventual troubles like for example the upper part costume failure of Gabriela Overall it should be as I said pretty even battle between the 2 nations, SWE forecast probably more medals but obviously it can end also the other way.

+ Sweden can medal in M hockey and Freestyle Skiing, France behind quite a lot of almost secured medals in Alpine Skiing, Biathlon and Freestyle Skiing, can win max 2-3 medals in Cross-Country and maybe a medal in Ice Dance SWE Cross-Country and Biathlon medals should at the end prevail in the Total amount

#TeamSlovensko for Stage 6 (and Final Olympic Qualifiers week) in Ruhpolding (Sprints, Pursuits and Team Relays) There still one spot open for the men. The coaches have to decide Wednesday after the IBU Cup sprint in Osrblie between Tomáš Hasilla and Matej Baloga, who of them will join the squad in Ruhpolding for the saturday extremely important relay. Among women Júlia Machyniaková already joined the team and will be part of the relay. Ivona and Paulína Fialková´s, Mária Remeňová, Michal Šíma, Šimon Bartko and the young Tomáš Sklenárik will start in the Sprints (Again especially the men have a very hard task to do, maybe they will experience the biggest pressure of their whole careers this Thursday and Saturday)
