  6. Logical Šíma/Ivona in the SMR. It is basically a All-in situation for our M team
  7. In better news. The women team have scored a very good number of points in the Olympic qualification today and can sleep much more confortably. We should not miss the four quotas at 99% now among women. They have also improved today for the nations ranking. Our babes scored a huge 290 points. Today, svk girls were the eleventh best team and moved to the 18th place of the nations cup. One more and we could start next year in the World Cups 4 women.
  8. This. Thats what I wrote. Šimon is in the last place above the cutting line. I already smell this nightmare, not having a relay is embarassing but not having even a mixed relay will be just last nail in the svk biathlon coffin. as we say in popular proverb...let the last one turns off the light
  9. Stage 5 in Val di Fiemme (ITA) Mixed Team Normal Hill: 1. Norway (Jens Luraas Oftebro, Mari Leinan Lund, Gyda Westvold Hansen, Joergen Graabak) 40:55.5 2. Austria (Martin Fritz, Lisa Hirner, Annalena Slamik, Lukas Greiderer) +10.5 3. Germany (Jakob Lange, Cindy Haasch, Jenny Nowak, Terence Weber) +23.9 Full Final Result HERE
  10. Stage 5 in Oberhof (GER) Men´s 10km Sprint: 1. Alexandr Loginov 27:00.8 (0+1) 2. Emilien Jacquelin +6.5 (1+1) 3. Sturla Holm Laegreid +15.1 (1+0) Full Final Result HERE
  11. Yeah, will be super close, will certainly overtake us, their results lately are much better than ours, I do not see us to keep them behind us. Japan is also a threat but may be a close battle until the end for sure and can end on both side. + There still the Chinese, they have no results in mixed events so they will earn tomorrow a huge load of points as well.. we will see but I am not entirely confident for our boys here. I am afraid this time it is not gonna work but we can blame only ourselves, with such budget and support not qualifying a relay is just an epic embarassing failure
  12. Baloga today probably buried our chances to have a Relay in Beijing... Due to the poor result of Baloga, our team gained today only a few points in the Olympic qualification. The big problem is that although definitely dropped out of the fight for the Olympics since they were not here at full strength and send their best athletes to the IBU Cup to Osrblie, scored exceptionally today, experiencing their best races in many years - Zahkna finished 17th with 0+0 and others took 57th and 65th places. That earned them a incredible 284 points !!! and are now only 54 points behind us 4 races before the end of the Road to the Olympics. Today they even erased 138 points from our gap. If they overtook us, (which is unfortunately very realistic, given they have their strongest events XR and XSR to come) only Šima and Bartko could probably start at the Olympics, and Šimon is yet the last above the cutting IBU points line. The WOG Qualification ranking is here.
  13. Yes but IOC later allowed their athletes to compete under Olympic flag as IOA.
  14. Ski Jumping can be so unpredictable at the Olympics that anything absolutely crazy can happen. My Grandpa always told me with laugh that story with that sudden strong wind which blew Fortuna to the gold in Sapporo to shock the whole planet and all favorites
  15. Tsukasa Kobonoki the sole 0+0 so far
  16. Nobody is commenting on, but today we are writing history lads. First ever Mixed Team Event ! Herr Thomas will be proud of you NC section of FIS ! very well done !
  17. Yeah this start to be really a while now from that Hannawald 2002 triumph. I remember it perfectly because it is the same year we won our hockey world title and since then just like the Germans Vierschantzen titles... medias and general pressures and expectations resulting every year in ... Nada
  18. Oh no, this means we will not have the neverending funeral psalms or whatever was that thing they were trying to sing in PyeongChang 4 years ago, performed by the only and only wise and respected leader Kim Jong-Un´s anti-imperialist cheerleaders corps this time in the stands
  19. You must be confusing with another place. Do not know when was the last time Osrblie had no snow, but that must have been pretty long time ago. In opposite as far as I remember the races were always on natural snow. Yeah, this week there no snow (Last week there actually still was, and a lot) but the forecast for next week predict that should be everything white around the venue again. Also not sure Osrblie will be infinitely willing to jump in and replace others every time the IBU will call and begs and Osrblie will then get nothing for it as compensation.
  20. FOUR HILLS TOURNAMENT 2021/22 Final Standing: 1. Ryoyu Kobayashi 1162.3 2. Marius Lindvik 1138.1 3. Halvor Egner Granerud 1128.2 Full Final Result HERE

  22. They should hire Dolezal, feel like he should be available soon
  23. and first careers win for Daniel Huber
  24. No second Grand Slam for Kobayashi. But still easily won his 2nd four hills title
