Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup for the 3rd time after 1996 and 2001 titles. No golden hattrick for Tampa and Erik "Drago" Černák, so no Stanley Cup in Slovakia (Košice) this summer but the Avs are fully deserved new champion, Congrats Colorado

Our girls scored 59 goals(!) against India in yesterday Women´s U20 WCh but still did not advance to the main round...because, yes as long and painful Slovak sport tradition requires we had to flop in one of a major tournament game.. which we as a proud "tradition respective" nation obviously accomplished also this time by losing to Japan. Yes that is just ... soooo Slovak.. So now the girls will play the president cup in a group with Guinea, Iran and India...
