  1. Nice new video called "the Chosen one" from a Canadian fan just to keep the hype train alive during this boring summer time .. so everybody aboard ! choo-choo
  2. and btw, off topic but, can you please tell them to be so kind and finally fix the video of the Beijing 2022 Ice hockey bronze medal match. Because if I´ll write to them, it will be a rather vulgar letter from an extremely unhappy, angry and pissed off human being, to say it politely. It would be really nice if they finally decided to take their shit together and release a video of my country´s greatest olympic success. Thank you in advance.
  3. Definitely Not in the most sexy way, but a win is a win. So alles gud then and that overtime winner was very nice. Deluxe move from Dej
  4. Možno len čakajú či niekto sa ešte neodhlási v niektorých disciplínach, takto napr. náš Bujna dostal pozvánku na 400m hoci bol tretí pod čiarou po uzávierke, no traja vrátili miestenku a EA ho následne oficiálne pozvala do Mníchova
  5. Hopefully not. i just discovered my all time least favorite athlete #1 I thougth nobody can beat Van Aert in this, but here we are.. a new pillock arrived from Gaborone
  6. Just watched the 100m M Final and that kid ! Man, what a prick
  7. Double digit avoided, that is the most important Anyway, the difference between last year and this year is so enormous, that it is really incredible. That 2004 year probably all the gods of the world had a party somewhere over Slovakian monutains, and the hockey god was the one who drew the shortest match and had to pay the bill.. so he send the talents here, Otherwise I can not explain it.
  8. Well, it does not look as bad as it was presented before the race. What a finish of our K4, that last 200m man ! that was something it is a pity that the track was not 10 centimeters longer. We have to go to the semi-finals now, but if the lads will perform there like they did today, there is nothing to fear about the qualification for the Final A. The race is around 1:20:00 from the start of the broadcast
  9. Good Morning Canada Livescore https://memosoft.spotfokus.com/timetable/index.php?page=eventdetail&folder=72&gmt=-3&gmt2=180 Livestream https://www.canoeicf.com/
  10. GUTTED, Disgusted and angry !!! Sadly, Officially the Messiah will not play at this tournament In fact any of our 3 this year Draft 1st rounders were not released by their new NHL clubs, Slafkovský and Mešár by Montreal and Šimon Nemec by New Jersey. Will never understand that, their new clubs should be happy to see them playing, there no better preparation for the pre-season NHL camp than playing a normal games ! FFS ! and if it is not bad enough, we have a couple of other awful news, another lead players had to decline the participation, Martin Chromiak and Marko Stacha for Injury ! Alex Čiernik due Coronavirus trouble, Krajč and Lašák jr. left the team for personal reasons too...and just yesterday before the departure to Canada in the very last training Šimon Bečár injured his knee and will not take part to the tournament... So Basically from a legit Top-Medal contender (Slovakia won in all its history only 2 bronzes in this category) we are now probably the top contender for Last place... Jeez, what a wasted chance this will be, probably we will never have again such Dream Team in this category... and it will end like that... why this had to happen ?
  11. Qualified Nations Group A Canada Czech Republic Latvia Finland Slovakia Group B Austria Germany Sweden Switzerland United States 2020 Championships Results Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 World Championship 2020 Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 Division I Group A World Championship 2020 Tournament Format This year's tournament is taking place at an unusual time. The championship, which began at the end of the year in Canada, had to be interrupted after four days due to enormous problems arising from the too strict anti-pandemic measures in the Canadian province of Alberta, and then even completely canceled on the fifth day of the tournament. However, the IIHF decided that the tournament will be repeated and replayed from scratch at he same place but in an unusual date in the middle of summer. Initial, efforts to have the same team composition suffered the first blow in February when Russia invaded Ukraine. For that reason, the IIHF excluded the Russian team from the tournament and will replace it in this tournament by Latvia. Multiple teams will have however equally different rosters The 10 teams are divided into two, five-team Preliminary groups A and B in the Preliminary Round. After a single round-robin series in each group, the top four teams from each group advance to the Playoff Round while the fifth-placed team in each group will end their tournament. IIHF Decided after agreement with all Federations, that due special reasons around this Tournament - There will be No Relegated Team this year The top four placed teams from the Preliminary will play a cross-over Quarterfinal game: 1A vs. 4B, 1B vs. 4A, 2A vs. 3B and 2B vs. 3A. The winner of each Quarterfinal moves onto the Semi-Finals. In the semi-finals the best-ranked team - criteria: 1) placement in the group, 2) points in the preliminary round, 3) goal difference in the preliminary round, 4) goals scored in the preliminary round, 5) seeding coming into the tournament - will play against the lowest-ranked semi-finalist. The 2nd-best ranked semi-finalist will play the 3rd-best ranked semi-finalist. The host if qualified, or otherwise the best-ranked semi-finalist according to beforementioned criteria, shall play the early game. The time slots will officially be determined after the quarter-final games. The winner of each Semi-Final game will move onto the Gold Medal Game, while the losers will play in the Bronze Medal Game. The quarter-final losers will be ranked 5th to 8th according to 1. their position in the group, 2. their preliminary-round record (1. points, 2. goal difference, 3. goals scored). Relegation Round Cancelled The two last-placed (5th) teams of both Preliminary Round groups will finish the tournament ranked 9th and 10th according their results (Points, Goals average, Goals Scored) in the Preliminary Round. The exact same Teams will play in the Top division also next year 2023. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Preliminary Round Schedule and Standing Link Knockout Round Schedule and Standing Link

  14. While it is nonsense from geographical point of view, I agree that Guyana and Suriname are more regionally "Concacafal countries" than for example Ausralia asian or Kazakhstan European
  15. We entered this tournament with some fear. Last year´s 2004-05 "wunder-year generation" who won silver in this is gone, now it is time for the 2005-06 generation, which is also missing its key players around Dvorský and co...who have now a extremely difficult task ahead of them to try to replace the freshly drafted stars not released by their clubs for the next-week U20 worlds. But it was Better than expected. Hopefully hey will learn a lot in this tournament and win a game or two Anyway, tonight against Canada this will be very ugly.
  16. Yeah, I remember you once already explained me that, but I forgot again. I am really dumb sometimes haha. I do not know why croquet always come to my mind when someone mention cricket. Anyway, from what I looked it may be fun to watch (I mean Cricket ) but I will definiely need to understand the basic rules, because so far it is only a sort of organized chaos to me

  19. It´s already the second time I mixed the two different sports until I googled it and found out the thing I thought is called Croquet and Cricket is completely different + Kickboxing, Karate, Squash, Lacrosse and Flag Football would be my personal choices = I am also kinda ok, with Baseball & Softball, all in all they both will certainly make it to LA, but hopefully they will find a easier tournament format for Baseball, not the one which requires a degree in nuclear physics to understand like it was in Tokyo. - Not interested in the other three
  20. from thrilling and amazing races in C2 we had until Rio 2016 to the completely idiotic and chaotic Extreme Kayak people will watch in absolute disbelief since Paris 2024. What a journey this was for this sport, from absolute fantasy to deepest shit
  21. Ok, so I did some quick googling.. The only thing I found was this https://www.facebook.com/groups/66201642336/permalink/10158555921072337/ Peter Strečanský, First year among Juniors. Managed to win the first ever Slovak medal in history in the World Juniors Champs in the sport of Rowing. Best result so far was 4th places also in the Single Sculls in 2003 and 2010. He was 2nd in the Heats, won his QF, was 3rd in yesterday SF and 3rd also in todays Final A. With a time 7:02,12 he also improved his new PB. That is already more than I have read about Rowing in Slovak in whole my life so far
