  1. well, we must say that Italy is the lowest seeded team in this group, but you already achieved very important win against Latvia, but against France the top favorite of the group it should be a bit harder even more assuming the tournament is held in France. But we know how the hockey and not only the hockey matches between France and Italy are tense and full of emotions so everything can happen. but yes on paper France is favorite.
  2. WHATTTTTTTTTTTTT ?????????????????? I mean, what the f..k ??? http://data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/results.html?sector=SB&raceid=13250
  3. haha. in some stats she is mentioned only Federica Zandegiacomo, so I assume she has only Zandegiacomo on her jersey, even this is quite long too though
  4. Austrian double win at alpine snowboard World Cup opener Ina Meschik (AUT) and Benjamin Karl (AUT) - winners of the Carezza PGS WC Ina Meschik (AUT) and Benjamin Karl (AUT) have claimed victory in this season's first event of the alpine snowboard World Cup tour which saw the top-4 qualifiers of both, women and men, dominating the knock out rounds staged in the single run format. While Meschik earned her career's first in the parallel giant slalom race organised on the Pra di Tori slope of Carezza (ITA), it was the 15th triumph for four-time world champion Karl. Meschik edged off second best qualifier Ester Ledecka (CZE) to the second rank in a heart-beat finale securing victory with an advantage of only 0.07 seconds. “Of course I'm very happy as this was my first ever World Cup victory,” Meschik said. “It was a great day, everything worked out well. I did an awesome job during the trainings, and I was able to keep the momentum. Now, I'm looking forward to the parallel slalom in Cortina.” Alena Zavarzina (RUS) rounded out the podium as third crossing the finish line only 0.02 seconds ahead of 2014 Olympic PSL champion Julia Dujmovits (AUT). In the men's event, things weren't getting as tight as in the women's finals with Karl beating top qualifier Andrey Sobolev (RUS) in the big finals with a comfortable lead of 0.45 seconds bringing home his first victory since Carezza 2011. “My last World Cup win dates back some five years, and it was right here on this slope in Carezza. Now, I'm back. This is great. During today's inspection I noticed right away that the conditions and the course setting would play into my hands. It was an incredible race,” Karl stated. “When I was at the start for the big final, I had nothing to lose. I went all in, and it worked out fine. I'm extremely happy,” he added also hoping to keep the momentum for Saturday. “I haven't found the right set-up for the psl yet but with the win here in the back, I think I can be able to earn another good result in Cortina.” Alpine snowboard overall World Cup title defender Radoslav Yankov (BUL), who was last season's winner at Carezza, took third therefore preventing the first ever Korean snowboard World Cup podium in history since 2007, and the first one ever of a male snowboarder from Korea. However, fourth-ranked Sang-ho Lee, the 2015 PGS junior world champion, became the first ever Korean race boarder to reach a small final on the World Cup tour. The alpine snowboard World Cup tour will continue in two days with a parallel slalom staged under the lights in Cortina d'Ampezzo (ITA). Full Results Women and Men

  11. No points today for us what a shame, with clean shooting we will have at least 2 biathletes with points. Especially Otčenáš is only 1.3 second behind points... but in other hand, 3 slovaks qualified for the pursuit is something very rare. It didn´t happened since last years Ostersund. We moved one place higher and we are now 14th in the Nations Cup. But since the Next race counting for the Nations Cup will be the Oberhof sprint, and most likely as our womens our mens will miss the whole Oberhof stage too, we will drop down in the ranking.
  12. Great turnover from Italy. They were 0-2 down against Latvia after 1st period but managed to win the 3rd preliminary round group 1 opening match 3-2. btw the second Italian goal was scored by player number 22 probably the athlete with the longest name I ever seen Federica Zandegiacomo-Miistrotofolo , try to say it 5 times fast

  18. Thompson and Detrez fastest in Arosa SX sprint The third race of the 2016 Cross Alps Tour saw the first-ever Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup nighttime sprint-format competition take to the slopes of Arosa (SUI) on Tuesday night, and with the shortened course, the novelty of racing under the lights, and the hype of a big Swiss crowd on hand, the evening saw a hugely entertaining and unpredictable competition from start to finish. And with Swiss youngster Romain Detraz taking the his first career victory on home soil, the evening even had a fairytale ending. In the ladies’ competition, though, it was top qualifier Marielle Thompson (CAN) who would run the table in the finals, winning every heat on her way to her second victory of the young season, giving her the World Cup and Cross Alps Tour lead. “Tonight went awesome,” Thompson said, “I executed my plan just how I hoped. Things got a little tight in the semi-final, but otherwise I’m just stoked on how it went. I felt good…I think I’m a little more awake at night. I felt like I didn’t ski my best in Val Thorens so it’s nice to be back on my game here in Arosa.” Behind Thompson was Karolina Riemen-Zerebecka (POL), who take the second podium of her career and first since the 2012/13 season, improving herself to fourth overall at this point in the ski cross World Cup season. Third place went to Ophelie David (FRA), as the winningest ski cross racer in World Cup history added another podium to her resume, taking her up to 63 podiums in her incredible career. Meanwhile Sami Kennedy-Sim (AUS) was the unlucky lady of the evening, coming in fourth, just shy of the first podium of her career. In the men’s competition, Detraz made good on what seemed like an unlikely 7th-place qualification ranking, pulling what appeared to be the fasted starts of the day in every heat, but really impressing with his ability to hold on to the lead throughout while some of the best ski-cross racers in the world tried in vain to rein him in. “It’s unbelievable,” said Detraz, still in shock following the awards ceremony, “If someone told me this morning that I was going to win this race, I couldn’t believe them. I had a good start and then I was able to stay out in front every heat, making a clean turn on the negative. I made a huge progress in my technique in the last year and it really helped me today.” Second place, for the second race in a row, went to Brady Leman (CAN), while third on the night went to Jean Frederic Chapuis (FRA), as he overtook Arosa-Lenzerhide favourite Alex Fiva for the World Cup lead. Fourth place went to ski cross World Cup upstart Siegmar Klotz, a recent Alpine World Cup transplant who is quickly making his mark in the ski cross world. From Arosa, the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup Cross Alps tour moves over to Montafon (AUT), for the fourth of the six Cross Alps Tour competitions on Saturday, December 17. Full Results Women and Men
