Qualified Nations Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Turkey 2019 Championships Results Women's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 18 Division I Group B Qualification World Championship 2019 Tournament Format The Tournament is composed of 2 phases, The Preliminary Round and the Knockout Round, The 4 participating Nations will play first a Preliminary Round-Robin tournament to decide the Knockout Round brackets, Each team play once every opponent, The first ranked Nation will then play in the Semifinals against the 4th ranked Nation and in the second Semifinal, the 2nd ranked Nation will face the 3rd ranked Nation The Semifinals winners will qualify for the Gold Medal Match and the Semifinals losing teams will qualify for the Bronze Medal Match The Gold medalist will qualify for the Women´s Under 18 Division II Group A World Championships next year in 2021. I only noticed this one. Although I clicked on the correct answer, for some reason it did not appear in the final results. That is why I said that I have 8 points because I have included this (correct) answer as well.
