  1. as usual something from ZERO to 6 (optimistic), more likely 3 or 4. I think we can expect at least one medal from our traditionally strong Olympic sports like Canoe Slalom M C1 or Canoeing Sprint M K4. + returning home without at least one medal in Shotgun would be certainly considered like a fiasco. and Matej Tóth should be if he´ll avoid injuries or health problems during the preparation one of the medal contenders in the last historic 50k official farewell and we still somehow hope and believe that Sagan will finally complete his titles.
  2. First ever PGA Tour podium https://www.golfchannel.com/tours/pga-tour/2019/rocket-mortgage-classic

  6. -75kg Boxing bronze medalist Andrej "Bandi" Csemez will be flag bearer during tonights closing ceremony.
  7. Peter Sagan : "Sagan won today, so everything is fine."
  8. František Sisr won the Czech and Slovak national championships ahead of Tomáš Kalojiros and Petr Vakoč all at the same time. The first Slovak crossing the finish line was the older of the Sagan bros Juraj in 6th place at the same time as the winner in the 6 riders leading group 1. František Sisr (Czech special jersey) 2. Tomáš Kalojiros 3. Petr Vakoč 1. Juraj Sagan (Slovak special jersey) 2. Erik Baška +1:31 3. Patrik Tybor +1:33
  9. But the work he did for his brother today was extraordinary.
  10. Jessica Fox leading with only Satila still to go... Remember the NOC ordered Jessica to win 2 C1 world cup races this season, tobe able to qualify for the Olympics in this event, otherwise she will not be allowed to fight for the quota in the C1 class... EDIT: Satila messed it up right now...Fox won...bummer.. MEH !!! meanwhile: First careers WC podium for the 15 years old Evy Leibfarth !!!
  11. @Olympian1010 Evy Leibfarth did it again, in both finals K1 and C1 also this weekend in Tacen. Right now she is assured also of her best careers result, 4th place at worst in C1, Jessice Fox and Ana Satila still to go Such an incredible talent. she will be the future of this sport no doubt.
  12. For Germans, the reason is prosaic. The 5 rounds internal Olympic Qualification already started for , and the World Cup 2 (last weekend) and 3 (this weekend) are not counted. The opening stage of this years World Cup instead was counted as the first of the 5 counted events, so this is why for example Tasiadis decided to not compete last week in Bratislava and this weekend in Tacen. He is just saving energy for more important races, since the fight between him and Anton is gonna to be really entertaining. The same apply for and the internal qualifications already started, and the fatc that there is a lot in the game, is visible in the results of both nations, the athletes were too much nervous last week in Bratislava, which was their internal qualification start

  15. @DaniSRB Just arrived from my cousin´s wedding and I have to appologize because I forget last time to introduce you one typical "east"slovak wedding tradition. the bonnet ceremony It´s called "redový tanec" you can google it and watch some videos. It is in fact the last big thing of the wedding, peoples usually should wait for it and only after they can go home (like me tonight lol). It happen right few minutes before or after midnight. The invited guests form a circle around the bride and dance with her one by one (or by small groups) after other, THE THING is that for this dance they have to pay her (and it´s really something, usually 50 or even 100 EURO are thrown to the prepared hat, plate or cup) until the song finish. During this time the men will forcefully prevent the groom from reaching the bride until all the guests have had their turn and it ends with the bride and groom dancing together at the end of the song, then the groom lift up his new wife in sign to show to everyone that from this moment she is only his wife.and both take the money collected, it's essentially their first money together as the newlyweds. here video how it looks
  16. Sorry, It´s just consequences from bad mood of last days, I know, It must be annoying, I feel it as well... maybe it doesn´t look so but Generally I am a really positive, always smiling and quite funny guy I'll be fine by a few days joking about everything here ad there. I know myself very well
  17. Yes, Strong win over a pair who is currently ranked 9 places higher in the world ranking. Nata and Andrea are currently in good shape since the start of the season and achieved some valuable wins over a couple of very interesting pairs from or anyway I am pretty sure we are going to have the Rio 2.0 version with the epic struggling in the olympic qualifiers and somehow missing the quota by 1 or 2 places after huge start of the cycle...you know, in a Slovakian way
