  1. I have never laughed harder in my life.
  2. Macron was unfortunately the best candidate in the French election (much, much, much better than LePen). Trudeau is fine, he’s not done much from my understanding. Johnson’s just as bad as Trump. When Trudeau is the best the big 4 have to offer, things aren’t looking good.
  3. They’re showing the matches live by the way. That’s a playlist.
  4. I’d be fine if NBC didn’t show the Parade of Nations. That’s when I take my nap. Wake me up when Bach starts to ramble on.
  5. Nothing like the leaders of palling it up, and bonding over their shared animosity for your president
  6. Besides the links @Griff88 shared, they livestreamed some on their Facebook page, and you can search on YouTube, and find anything you’re looking for.
  7. Can’t catch a break
  8. Attacks on the Media/press are bad. Luckily, these guys aren’t actually journalists, but conservative misinformation spreaders. I’m pro-Hong Kong, but China gets my gratitude this round.
  9. Pami is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite mascots. I love those little animations they play after the broadcast intro.
  10. Sorry, a) weird format b) I’m used to the OCA policy of “we’ll invite you, but you can’t win medals”
  11. Yep. Not really a super high quality sport compared to quite a few others on the program, but still enjoyable.
  12. Because I don’t know much about Copa, @LDOG are the non-South American teams allowed to win?
  13. Refugees will follow right after Greece. That’s a shame, I liked them coming second to last. The host crowds would probably always given them a huge cheer too. Their the easiest team to support. I always want them to do well.
  14. Unfortunately, I agree. I’m afraid the nation is both dumb enough, and lacking a clear good candidate to beat that idiot. I fear what follows.
  15. While I was looking at SEA News Channels and Broadcasters (for 2019 SEA Games streams), I came across multiple news stories about this kid: Dude would kill it on this forum . He’d only need to learn a few more languages to be able to communicate with everyone. People claim he speaks 16 languages, but I think there’s a catch. He can sell in 16 languages, but I think he only fluently speaks Khmer, Mandarin, and maybe one or two more. Still very impressed either way. I speak English (y un poco de español ). I do know a few Latin and French phrases here and there. I found I can handle some Tagalog and Portuguese too because of their similarities to Spanish. I’ve always wanted to learn Cherokee and Icelandic.
  16. @Griff88 @Fly_like_a_don Care for some Hockey? Underwater Hockey that is :
  17. In theory winning by one wicket is close, but that batsmen could have scored 30 more runs potentially. 9 wickets would be a bad, bad lose from my understanding.
  18. It’s still too early in my opinion. We’re still a few months out from the first primary, and a lot could change. Hopefully Biden says something racist, so my side of the party can win . Yang has a cult following. Much like Sanders. Yang will be dangerous.
  19. Respectable decision. Even if I think he’s cheating the system a bit. Did a great job representing the US, and I hope he does an equally good job for Team GB.
  20. Super helpful @phelps. Thanks for the breakdown. Cricket actually makes more sense to me now (and that’s after reading Wikipedia, etc.)
  21. People seem to think he’s going to make a surge. I don’t see it personally, but he’s definitely number 5 in order. I forgot to mention Yang in first post too. Yang might still have a fighting chance. He’ll need to stick around until the first primaries, and then do better than expected there.
  22. Greatest announcement in the history of the IOC!
  23. Like the program overall, seems like an improvement.
  24. Also worth noticing that it’s not actually Canoe Sprint, but Canoe Ocean Racing.
