  1. Love the 2015 edition. I always found it funny that Singapore is by the far the wealthiest nation, but also one of the worst nations when measured by budget/strength/ability/etc. My big problem with the 2015 edition is that only only broadcasted like 10-15 sports. KL2017 was because they broadcasted 25-35 sports all together. 2015 also had actual PDF results, so that was nice too. I would say KL 2017 was a good edition too. I know there was a lot of drama (as usual), but all in all, it seemed like people really enjoyed that edition.
  2. When ESPN5, that nice YouTube channel, and SEA Games 2019 broadcast all of the Sepaktakraw Team Doubles tournament, except the gold medal match ?
  3. What about an Orange Cream or Vanilla Cream? Those are my favorites.
  4. After long delays, technical problems in the first match of the eSports tournament. may be out of their league here...
  5. Plus they have a much further reach than Sepaktakraw, and more average spectators. Not mention that those are actually some of the most popular sports on the program (at least internationally). Personally, I’d love to see Kabaddi in the Olympics, but only after international growth and a better governing body.
  6. It’s not universal enough to be Olympic, but it should totally be in the World Games. The federation is complete shit, totally useless as you said. I’d love to watch Kings Cup to, but it’s not shown outside the SEA region. Taekwondo, Badminton, and Karate are much more deserving of Olympic slots though.
  7. 3 injured, gunmen dead after shooting at Pearl Harbor.
  8. Actually quite looking forward to this. SEA is one of the best regions in the world, especially at the games put on the program. Quality should be good. Looking forward to seeing some good matches.
  9. Who’s ready for eSports?!?!
  10. It doesn’t matter because and are just so much better than everyone else. Occasionally maybe can compete. actually not half bad either. Korea is a country that’s always good in most sports. Their the only non-traditional country to be good in both Kabaddi and Sepaktakraw.
  11. First off, lame rules for entry, and not giving women an equal number of events. I too am not a huge fan of hoop. It’s quite boring, and like you said, not true takraw. I would have preferred doubles to quadrant though. I like the doubles format. However, nothing beats good old regu. Not a big fan of these Team events either. I’d prefer a team event where there are three matches: one double, one regu, one quad. The perfect SEA Games and Asian Games Sepaktakraw program would be: Double Regu Quad Team Hoop (Only in SEA Games) Men and Women would compete in all events. Wouldn’t mind the Team event being Mixed Gender with this order: W Double, M Regu, W Regu, M Double (if needed), Mixed Quad (if needed)
  12. Quickly gaining popularity as a college and beach sport in North America. The game I shared isn’t the best example, so apologies for that. There have been some damn good exciting matches though.
  13. Anyone heard of Spikeball?
  14. All because he posted a causal “fuckin China” on his insta stories because he got stuck at long lines in Shanghai. The Chinese always overreact to everything.
  15. IAAF didn’t want to move the events. According to Dunfee they stood up for the athletes, but the IOC didn’t care.
  16. Sometimes I wished our constitution allowed for one on one gun duels like Paraguay’s . Just give Pelosi and Trump a pistol, and the winner becomes president.
  17. I agree, but it’s also worth noting the powerful figures with tendencies similar to Trump have done more with a lot less time. I think that another Trump presidency would have the ability to due damage.
  18. Yes, and because of how fucking dumb Americans are that worked.
  19. It won’t matter. House will vote down party lines (+ Rep. Amash) to impeach. Senate will vote down party lines to a acquit.
  20. I don’t get to see him this year .
  21. Which is odd because Croatians are generally weak at the start of “gun involved events”, but then comeback rather strong in the back half
  22. Yeah, Beach Soccer would make more sense, but then what’s the point of the WBG? Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if, in the next few decades, the IOC decided to create the Beach Olympic Games or the Urban Olympic Games. The YOG shows the IOC is moving in that direction. I’m sad the lead and speed climbers won’t have a chance.
  23. Those facts about our healthcare are true by the way. I think I spent somewhere in the range of $5,000 on dental care alone this year (thank god my parents have decent insurance). I know someone who was changed $75 for a Bandaid ?
  24. Funny how that works out. Bushs, Clintons, Roosevelts, Kennedys, etc. You might be right on this one. And now I can only think Don Jr. being president . Thanks for that horrifying thought
  25. Sanders had got a lot of people talking by sharing this video tonight: What I said to @heywoodu earlier this year is true. I don’t worry about natural disasters, freak accidents, gang violence, or car accidents. It’s not likely I’ll die in any of those situations. I’ll die from an OD, gun shot wound (while watching a movie, attending school, shopping, going to a concert), or a trip to the hospital. This country is so, so broken when it comes to our values. I’m beginning to think we don’t even have any. I try not to be fatalistic, but this country man. We top all the wrong lists currently (most people incarcerated, one of the highest homicide rates in a first world country, highest student debt, etc.), and I don’t see it changing in this next decade. We are so incredibly fucked. No one cares, people don’t want to talk about our problems. I don’t get it. If your house is burning down, you don’t just sit there a watch it! You do literally anything to try and save it, or just as much as you can. America is a house on fire, and we’re just letting it burn down around us.
