  1. Yes, yes we would.
  2. The list of debates and commentary I’ve seen about today’s decision is quite insane. Here’s a few of my favorite arguements and some other nonsense. 1) We should just have an Olympics for doped athletes 2) Ban Russia completely 3) Russia is innocent/Western conspiracies ? 4) Everyone else dopes so it’s fine 5) Lance Armstrong 6) Ban Russia forever ? 7) OAR v. ANA. v. IOA v. RUS 8) Russians will kill WADA officials ? 9) It’s all the IOCs fault And many more This is getting ridiculous. Ban Russia, let clean athletes compete under the UN/Olympic flag, and get on with it. We all saw this coming for past half year. Also, people who don’t know shit about the issue, shouldn’t be giving opinions on it. Also Americans need to calm the fuck down. Russia cheated, we caught, not everyone is dirty, this has nothing to do with the Trump thing, let’s all move on.
  3. Right, In fact our doping test system is very good at catching athletes. Generally athletes dope on a one off basis, and our eventually caught. Our national federations do not encourage doping, nor does the government. Many of the drugs used in doping are hard to obtain in the US anyways. Our doping system could be much stronger though.
  4. I am sad . Kenya and Thailand are on my watchlist for good reason clearly.
  5. I like that the IWF actually decided to take it seriously. Their model should be the model everyone follows.
  6. Not looking to argue this morning so this is all I have to say about the matter: I’m happy with the decision. The country itself is punished, while the athletes themselves can continue their athletics careers. I will be annoyed by the whole OAR thing, or whatever the decide to go with, but if that’s the cost of clean sport so be it. This wasn’t a political decision, it was one based on fact. Politics must certainly played a role, but the fact remains that Russia engaged in state-sponsored doping, and then attempted to cover it up, and continue to hinder the investigation process. I also think Kenya is not currently involved in a state-sponsored doping scheme, but that the government’s negligence is a sign of complicity, and so they should be severely punished as well. We should also be watching Egypt, Thailand, and the Central Asian nations. Keeping sport clean is important, and it’s worth fighting for. Emotions aside, this is right for sports, for athletes, and for the integrity of what we love. I know that it can feel like a real kick in the teeth to those who believe their is a Western conspiracy, but the sun will get brighter, and we can be more certain than ever the Russians and other athletes are clean. I will not be commenting on this further, unless people want technical questions answered, or need help otherwise.
  7. No, they specifically said the decision will not affect the 2020YOG because of how close the decision was to the event. Plus, if any YOG had ever been caught doping, I’d just be sad.

  12. Love STORROR. One of the few groups that really still live by many of the traditional rules of parkour, and appreciate it for more than just tricks.
  13. So glad I woke up late this morning, and just kind of missed this one
  14. @hckosice Might be a gold, and you won’t even be able to see it
  15. Better than nothing, which I’ll gladly take any day. The aerobic stream was fine. Unfortunately, I missed the first few athletes.
  16. You can go ahead and mark off Nativity Scene on your American political bingo card
  17. Other rumored bids that have not been confirmed. Germany, India, Indonesia, Qatar, Philippines, and Koreas.
  18. First official bid, and hot favorite, for 2032:
  19. They broadcasted BMX and Aerobic Gymnastics today. I feel spoiled. Two of my absolute favorite sports right there.
  20. Nope . Gave up on that a while ago
  21. Totallympics Media was actually unable to get the media rights for these games. Emailed the OC multiple times asking for media hookup, but wasn’t even given an answer. Lima 2019 were much better to deal with. Hopefully once I get my AIPS card, getting into the media systems will get easier.
  22. Yep, that would have been very helpful a few days ago. Total access to the media section
  23. having the performance of a lifetime currently. It’s been a fun week for winter sports I’d say.
  24. The amount of people saying that, since Ted Cruz believes in fake narratives, he must actually be the Zodiac Killer, is killing me right now. Lindsey Graham and him are so far up Trumps ass that it must give him pains at night.
