As I told you earlier, from now on there will be 2-3 polls a week with 3 events in each poll. These are olympic champions in certain events. I have listened to your previous advice and I have decided that first wrestling poll will be Greco-Roman Super Heavyweight, looks like this is the most interesting wrestling event. And one more thing. After a very long deliberation I have decided that because these are our IMAGINARY Summer Olympics in an IMAGINARY world with no wars and no violence, all the former olympic champions from all over the world are allowed to participate. So there will be no ban for Russian or Belarussian or Saudi or North Korea or any-other-NOC-you-may-think-of athletes. Despite what is going on now here in Eurasia and despite my strong belief that ban for Russian and Belarussian athletes in real sports these days is a really good and rightful decision, I think that for the purpose of this series of polls... everyone's invited. These polls need to be fun and relief, a tiny chance to forget about real-life struggles, so that is how I see it. So... let's vote!
  4. @SindoI have written here before that this week I will prepare another series of polls here, a kind of contest for users, with predicting the results of certain events, points to get for it, sth similar to what I've done during Beijing games. But unfortunately, due to a lot of work at the court, and being quite involved in some activities helping Ukrainian refugees here in Poland, I am not able to do it. I will do it later when things settle down. For now on, I'll stick to the imaginary olympics series, maybe it's not the best moment for this either, but I also need some kind of relief and joy these days. So I will keep making these polls even if not many users vote in them. Have a good day everyone, stay safe.
  5. I think we need to speed up a bit. At this rate, we will not make the polls for all 329 events before real Paris 2024 olympics get started. So this polls ends on Sunday morning CET. And after that there will be 2 or 3 polls every week and there will be 3 events in each poll. Do you think it's a good idea? Let me know. And god bless civilians.

Imaginary olympics take place In Poland, obviously. That means rather flat cross terrain, maybe some small hills, climate like typical Middle Europe summer, not very hot, maybe it rains. We don't necessarily choose the best ones, the world record holders.   16. I have so many ideas about these series of polls. I really hope they will turn into sth interesting and more users will get involved. As I wrote here earlier, despite war and politics, we all need some kind of relief and joy and this is my idea for that. My biggest concern for these polls so far is that my fav summer olympic sports are defenitely swimming and athletics. And I would love to have these sports included in the polls. But to choose the best olympic champion in the poll may make no sense if we probably should just look at their PBs and things should be obvious. But on the other hand, why not try it. Men's pole vault - would Duplantis win if he sees Bubka in his best form (not Barcelona 92 form) standing besides him? All the mind games, form of the day, dealing with pressure, we may take it all into the consideration here. Would Bubka have jumped higher in his career if he had access to all the today's training methods and equipment??? I think those are interesting questions and I will add some athletics and swimming polls here soon as well. Have a good weekend, everyone!   17. Ok. Thanks for this one. I like your ranking lists very much because when there's a tie, we need to find out how to decide who gets 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively. For now, I think I will have to decide it by myself But I will always use your rankings and all the other users suggestions and rankings as an advice obviously
  18. Yes, that's exactly the purpose of these polls!!! I'll try to make around 10-15 polls like that and we'll see how it works and if people here are interested in them, we'll continue... You are right with changing weights in wrestling so many times. And I obviously don't know much about many sports so if you're interested I will always look for your comments and suggestions in every poll, sports like wrestling, weightlifting, taekwondo, judo above all, if I remember your interests correctly And I'm waiting for comments and suggestions from all the other users as well, ofc

  21. @phelps thank you for your ranking list again!!! I agree with Flessel on top. But why did you place Timea Nagy so low? She is the only one who is a double olympic champion in this event.
