  1. Ummmmm how did I find this site again I guess it was the Tour de Suisse that I found this place lol But I'm more of a tennis/motorsports/athletics fan than cycling
  2. Yesterday Lewis Hamilton won his 65th Pole Position, equalling the record set by Ayrton Senna. The Senna family were ready for this to happen, so that they could present Lewis with one of Ayrton's famous helmets (form 1987). Lewis said this gift was better than any trophy he had ever one.
  3. Netherlands beat Egypt in 5 set comeback to go from 6th to 2nd in Group (top 4 qualify)
  4. Who is Thomas Chirault He hasn't competed since March 2016 and he got to 4-4 vs Brady Ellison :o
  5. Philippe Gilbert won and Rui Costa was 3rd, everyone else was in peloton so no time lost overall.
  6. The breakaway was caught, now a group of 3 riders moves away from the peloton with 5km to go but their 7 second lead should be caught. Peter Sagan is at the front of the peloton.
  7. I swear 47 45 is soooooo unlikely?! Only similar thing I've seen is when John Isner and Nicolas Mahut played a tennis match at Wimbledon that went to 70 games to 68 in the 5th set. But they were both very good at serving and not great at returning, making the chance of winning alternating games more likely. Compared to other sports: Winning a badminton set 43-41 (They have a limit if 30 points, so if it is 29-29 it is the deciding point, but it is a rare occurence) Winning a table tennis set 33-31?!!? Winning a penalty shootout e.g. in football or hockey in the 23rd round of sudden death?!!?!? Or winning a golf tournament in a playoff at the 23rd playoff hole?! (A golf course usually only has 18 holes) Ok I'm done and so are Venezuela, they completely gave up the last game lost it and the match in like 5 minutes oh dear
  8. Oh my gosh I saw the score was 26 25 like 2 hours ago!?!?!!?!? Waaaaaaaaaaaaat
  9. Well done to Heather Watson for getting to Surbiton Trophy Final today, she was beaten by Rybarikova of Slovakia.
  10. The players should receive maybe 50 ranking points every time they win a game against Rafa on clay!
  11. Stan should go up to a ball-girl (who is actually Jelena Ostapenko in disguise!), give her the racket, then Nadal will be like oh it's just a ball girl I'll play easy, and Stan will win a few points! (Still better than Stan's game-plan )
  12. [SPOILER ALERT] Congrats to RK Vardar https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RK_Vardar for winning the EHF Champions League! :o Vardar is a Macedonian handball team and the sport is quite big in Macedonia, but they have never won the biggest European tournament in men's competition. Matches with English commentary (the guy is crazy, it's amazing) can be seen live at ehf.tv In the semi-final they beat 9-time European champions Barcelona 26-25 with a top corner goal with 4 seconds to go And in the final, PSG equalised with 7 seconds to go but PSG had put all their players up the field (including goalkeeper), so Vardar could throw the ball up the court into the goal and they would guarantee the win. You don't see this in the video below but the team coach accidentally called a time-out, meaning they would have to score within 7 seconds from the half-way line! And then this happened: Obviously when they returned to Macedonia, it was a bit crazy:
  13. Livestreams for the event (TV coverage) in German, French and Dutch can be found here: http://www.cyclingfans.com/tour-de-suisse/live (scroll down) I'm new to totallympics.com, it looks great
