  1. That's actually a bit of a tricky one! Chauffeuring people around on Fridays only might make one end up with a small lack of experience, but surely a steady once a week drive is enough to be alright. A Wednesday coachman...hello, it's 2021. I am a tiny bit doubting between A and D. I'm going for D though: I see how the people go to church on Sunday here and they drive like absolute whack jobs, you risk your life by getting in their way! D, Sunday driver.
  2. In Dutch schools, notes go from 1 to 10, including in the final exam which decides whether you pass the 'middle' school (sort of like high school I guess) and then can go on to a university, college, some other form of next education or whatever. Anyhow, I bombed two subjects in my final year exams, maths and chemistry. You can retake one, with my options being as follows: retake chemistry and get it from a 4.x to a 5.4 or higher, or retake maths and get it from a 2.x (!) to a 4.something. This should tell you enough about my mathematical knowledge. Circles have interesting mathematical capabilities and I'm sure triangles and rectangles do too, if one were too understand maths, which I don't. I am going for C, square root!
  3. Interesting question to start off with. Of course a nowegian is nonsense and an iclandic will only help if you're going for long distances, as we all know. One might be able to pull off a great sprint if you've got that extra.....dnish though... Nonetheless, I am going for B, finish.
  4. Three lifelines but I will use '4' as lucky number
  5. I can do said stuff after the quiz
  6. Me me me That is Dutch for 'confirm'
  7. In that case, let's roll
  8. Is a bit of a delay an option for you? Not too much, but I'd like to get some small things out of the way before I'm all focused (and turn my office back into my bedroom )
  9. Yes, such as what's up with that red kimono?
  10. After the performances lately...definitely not going for the Netherlands France is without their captain, hence I'm going for Norway.
  11. As of right now, I see no reason why I wouldn't be there
  12. Wait what's up with breakfast at late lunch time followed by dinner while the taste of breakfast/lunch has barely left yet? Not complaining btw, food
  13. I used to watch baseball every now and then when I still had (the American version of) ESPN on TV, even knew which pitcher was with which team, at least the famous ones, and even had a favourite team And yes, I would be lying if I say literally nothing ever happens, but when I watched, most of the time - not always - it was a matter of not much happening and waiting for someone to (first) actually hit something and (second) that hit doing more than just being caught I do perfectly get that for others this can be sort of relaxing or therapeutic even. I mean, I watch whole cycling stages if I can or even 200+ kilometer long classics on a Sunday, it's not like there's always that much happening in the first 90% or so
  14. Oh yes, definitely when there is a question about which one you like most (good thing breakdancing wasn't possible in this list). I'm sure I watch plenty of stuff others would find horribly boring, that's fine
  15. Sport climbing. Not even 'the most', it's the only one I'm excited for Surfing and skateboarding have way too much of a vibe that's like "this is just for fun, who cares who wins" plus I have no idea what move is what (and don't really care). In karate nothing seems to happen most of the time and the semi-dancing event is even less interesting for me, and baseball takes way too long all the time before something interesting happens in between the gazillion missed hits which make the whole waiting game start again Sport climbing on the other hand: constant action, fairly easy to follow (too bad they only have the combined event since that one is much harder to follow, but alright) and absolutely hundred percent about the win. Sport climbing is something I am absolutely going to watch (I do so with World Cups as well, after all), I have zero reasons to watch karate, baseball, surfing or skateboarding
  16. You're forgetting Roelf Bouwmeester, who in 2019 was caught selling some drugs at the Sziget festival and I guess is still in some Hungarian cell
  17. That middle one, the jeans jacket, is that for one goes out to spray graffiti in the middle of the night joined with some of those 'fashionable' broken jeans as pants?
  18. Same here for Olympic athletes, which is leading to quite some debate and anger left and right
  19. Is Sadulaev still making everyone else look like a human ragdoll?
  20. Thing is, none of these are unrealistic other than maybe some of the sailing ones (I don't really watch sailing, probably also not during the Olympics so it's not like I really care that much about who wins those events ). And it's also not like these are the only sort of serious gold medal chances, so one could definitely exchange an event here or there. Like with any country it can go a lot of ways, 15 medals wouldn't suprise me and neither would 35.
  21. And the organizers screwed up big time, just like the Tour de Pologne organizers last year....the fences/boarding were standing in an incredibly unsafe manner again, luckily Sacha Modolo seems to be alright. At least the finish itself was pretty normal, unlike that idiotic stage in Poland where everyone knew it was only a matter of waiting for something terrible to happen.
  22. To be fair, anything that comes anywhere near the current world championships medal table (for any country) is already not complete nonsense It might not be the most realistic outcome, but that table is filled with actual results instead of predictions, so those results are possible.
  23. Exactly my issue with any prediction that looks at it on a per-event basis. Imagine a theoretical country with a 5-10% medal chance in all 339 events. GraceNote would have them ending up with no medals at all (assuming there's no event where 10% medal chance is enough to be in the top-3 countries), even though that would be incredibly unrealistic with 339 of those chances.
  24. Took me a month or two last time I think (when I made a total medal table per country, not one like GraceNote where every event gets a gold, silver and bronze medalist and that's it) and that was with the help of a lot of users around here for specific sports...
