  1. 20s penalty for Morbidelli who finished 2nd but went back to 7th, same thing for Cortese who finished 4th and fell back to 15th. All of that in the last lap...for a jump start, damn, huge mistake by race control
  2. Jump start and drive through for Zarco, Lowes, Nakagami and Rins, wtf And Folger crashes out while in a big lead in lap 2
  3. So frustrating, Loi just can't really close the gap and stays half a second behind all the time...he needs to find a slipstream
  4. This is all not going so well for Bendsneyder, outside the points now On the upside, Livio Loi is quickly closing the gap on the front group, come on Livio!
  5. Andrea Iannone broke the official MotoGP speed record in warm-up a short time ago: 351.2 km/h Just minutes to go until the Moto3 starts, let's go Bad Boy Bo
  6. Prevc finishes an absolutely legendary season in the only right way: with a fantastic home win at the home of ski flying
  7. For me this unfortunately means I won't pay Obertilliach a 2nd visit, which is a real shame because I loved it there and I would have loved to go back On the other hand, Martell and Arber are my options to visit next season and at least they talk German as well there. I'm gonna try to find out if it's possible to visit both, either by travelling there by myself or by (hopefully) travelling from Martell to Arber together with the Brazilians just like they took me from Obertilliach to Munich this season
  8. Brem needed to finish 4th, she finished 4th 592 vs 590 and Brem wins the GS World Cup, very much deserved
  9. Yes, that's the one I meant (I knew because you pointed it out to me last year ) That's terrible and because of that she's the German athlete I would like the most to see having success (I know a medal isn't realistic, at least individually, but one can always hope of course for some sort of miracle).
  10. Pinto is the one with that horribly sad story last year, isn't she?
  11. Apparently Bas Verwijlen (fencing) has qualified for Rio
  12. And it's even more stupid when a decision simply gives a clear, unfair advantage to 50% of the field.
  13. That's the end of the season. There's a strong storm in Khanty, which already moved the women's mass start to later in the day. However, now a flood light has even simply fallen down and the tracks are covered in crap from the trees.
  14. One of the very few normal decisions by ISU...not as extremely stupid as the horrible decision to have only one race to decide the 500 meters.
  15. Spain had Antonio Gomez Fernandez in the 70's/80's, who was extremely popular in the Netherlands for reasons like the way he skated the turns (only after a while he learned how to actually make a decent turn), but he never competed at the Olympics Pedro Causil is going really well in the past year and a half or so for Colombia, I have high hopes of him being a decent performer in Pyeongchang. Apart from them and India, also Brazil is having a young talent living in Japan, but he isn't near Olympic standards yet.
  16. Verstappen was asked "at least you got a point, is that something positive?" His answer: "I don't give a crap about that point." Also: "The team told Carlos to let me pass, but that didn't happen...I know enough."
  17. Oh yeah, there's him too, but somehow I can't get very interested in motocross
  18. I know, you have no idea how much I am looking forward to Moto3 Moto3 is almost always the best race of the weekend (Moto2 is often pretty boring and MotoGP is only sometimes interesting) so I always like it the most. However, this year it's even better because we finally have a real talent! I wish the clock would go faster
  19. I can also still hardly believe how good we are suddenly (since 1-2 years) going in motorsports We have Max Verstappen who is widely tipped as a very, very big talent and someone who has a huge chance to start winning races in the next few years. Then there's Michael van der Mark winning the World Supersport title in 2014, reaching some podiums in WSBK last year and already 3 podium finishes in 4 races this year. And now we have Bo Bendsneyder who destroyed the field in the Red Bull Rookies Cup last year and is looking very promising in Moto3 so far this weekend. Good years are coming, finally
  20. I'm still not over how incredibly frustrating this race was, I can't wait for the next one
