  1. Suzuki vs Prins was....quite something. The first leg was literally several minutes of throwing at D1
  2. Not even a month later, and more Knegt-news: while lighting the fire at his house (one of those wood things), his clothes caught fire and he sustained severe burns, especially one of his legs is in bad shape. An ambulance and even a helicopter came to his house and apparently he is suffering from third degree burns. That's definitely gonna be the end of his season, let's wait and see if he ever comes back at all.
  3. Joan Barreda was leading the bikes classification after two stages, but yesterday he got stuck in the sand, couldn't get out and had to give up
  4. She could undergo surgery and compete in men's handball, right? It happens the other way around, after all
  5. Too bad it's still thousands of kilometers away from Dakar
  6. 1. Mostly B, but kinda agree with @DaniSRB: the first X in the ranking should have the priority (maybe I'd go for top-3 instead of top-5), but if they decline, we can have an open bid process. 2. B, with first time hosts having a slight advantage 3. A and B are both fine for me. Much like for the prediction contests it feels (at least for me) like much more fun when you're competing/playing against/with people who you also 'meet' and talk to in the regular sports threads.
  7. Meanwhile, Lakeside has been going on for a few days. Not exactly a succesful PDC-to-BDO-move for Newton and Hamilton and a rather painful loss for the surprising Winmau World Masters champion Adam Smith-Neale, who could barely hit a treble.
  8. Well yeah, that happens in every sport ever. If the Kobayashi's of today start falling behind one day, we will be like "there are no more stars like Kobayashi anymore" It's the sports version of "everything was better in earlier years".
  9. Yeah it's a bit disappointing not to see the likes of Kalla and Andersson here, but alright. It wasn't the nicest Tour de Ski anyway, only short stages basically
