http://www.wired.com/2016/03/meldonium-became-doping-drug-choice/
Quote"The chair of Grendiks’ (Meldonium's manufacturer) board of supervisors, Kirovs Lipmans, is also president of the Latvian Hockey Federation and an executive member of the Latvian Olympic Committee. His dual role as a Latvian sports official and director of a company that produces a performance-enhancing drug raised eyebrows with at least one US anti-doping official. “It’s weird,” says the official, on background."
"It's weird" . Euphemism of the year. -
The new one, by a mile. The new software makes it 1000x (literally, I've counted, trust me) better than the previous one. Mandatory results were always a big annoyance which serve little to no purpose (I've little memory, but no the point to forget the results of the race I've watched just 5 minutes ago).

Hopefully our boys will show what they are capable of and qualify to RIO, after all Poland will be host of their tournament Plus I hope they'll silence some haters, as after last EC some really undeserved hate was thrown down upon them.... seasonal fans some people are
Honnestly, they deserved it. Ok, maybe not the hate (if it really came to 'hate'), but at least to be mocked. That game against Croatia was the biggest choking I've ever witnessed

Poor Nordic combined, even figure skating managed to score a couple of points
As far as I'm concerned:
1. Ice Hockey
2. Biathlon
3. Alpine Skiing

Bauge, Tamgho, Moulinet, Livio, Bigot ...
You have far more "famous" doping cases than any other western nation, only Russia and Ukraine in Europe are probably worse. If you only want to insult me, than you dont need to quote me, but obviously you are not interested in a discussion, so next time just dont quote me and we both will save a lot of time.
There was no insult in my previous message ("yeah, right" is not an insult, jeez, calm down)
You have a great memory, I'll give you that. Yet, that's hardly making for a very conclusive list. You have two "no show" athletes (the two only heavy weights on your list), two second tier athletes and one horse over two or three years. Beaware Russia, we are comming.
You'll easily find a list of doping cases from other euro countries that tops the list you gave me for France (Ballan, Schwazer, Cunego, Ulissi for Italy for exemple). But that's beyond the point. France doesn't have more (or less) of a doping problem that other western european countries (with probably the exception of Spain), and you'll need much, much more evidence that Baugé and Tamgho no shows to prove otherwise.
If anything, because athletes getting caught only mean they are too stupid (or too poor) to have been caught in the first place. A athlete (or a nation) not been caught is not a proof of cleaness

I dont want France/Ukraine to win any medals, considering their recent doping scandals. France had many doping cases in different sports and Ukraine had a couple of doping cases in biathlon. I wouldnt mind if J. Boe/Svendsen/T. Boe/Schempp/Peiffer/Lesser/Shipulin win all the medals from now and Dahlmeier/Hildebrand/Preuß/Mäkäräinen/Wierer/Soukalova on the womens side.
I have given up all hope on the mens side, maybe except for the relay. Schempp has been shooting pretty bad recently, Dahlmeier as well, but she managed to hide it today. I expect gold in womens mass start and womens relay. Mäkäräinen, Wierer and Soukalova deserve to win medals, considering how the season has been going so far, i hope those 3 will win the medals in womens individual. On the mens side i hope for J. Boe, Schempp and Shipulin.
You don't want France to win any medal becauses of the "many doping cases in different sports", but you hope for a Russian to win a medal... Yeah, right...
And what do you mean by "many doping cases in different sports" anyway ? A bunch of cases in athletics (still a shit load less than Wierer's Italy for instance) and a few here and there, including no show violations and none beeing biathlon related or even winter sports related ?
Welcome back anyway (even with the same silly arguments )

Strange, I did just that but it wouldn't stop quoting Wanderer.
Anyway, I understand your motivation problem. Now with everything gone, my work of the last three years is lost as well. I don't know if I will start these medal tables again...
Have you tried webarchive ? They might have a few thread saved.

According to l'Equipe, Markin was only controlled twice during te Olympic Qualification Tournament. According to FIVB new rules, it could mean that Russia might end up dsiqualified.
But, hey, it's the FIVB and Russia, so I assume they will find a trick not to follow their own rules.
