Cutting 'old' sports' and disciplines is nothing new. Its been 20 years since wrestling was supposed to be cut from the program and it's still there. Even boxing is still around despite its myriad of issues. Cutting sports is a shit lot more difficult than the oppposite. I wish her good luck, historically, all IOC presidents so far have a terrible record when it comes to cutting stuff.
