  2. I L'Equipe too. And apparently, the letter is co-signed by Canada (CCES).
  3. Heum ^^ 'yavbou' is the verlan form of the word 'bouyave', and i'll let tou use your google skills to figure out the rest ^^
  4. Btw, French Tv had the groups allready drawned (no idea where from) We were drawned with the US, Australia, China, Serbia and Venezuela
  5. Thanks, Honestly I didn't expect to be that close, neither that Parker will save the day for us.
  6. Twice, but, ok, that was a long time ago (1938).
  7. The head of our NOC is hopping to top the record number of medals in Beijing (41), including between 12 or 15 golds Some federations have setted their own goals: - Athletics: 5-6 medals (@ lol) - Cycling: 6 medals - Rowing: 2-3 medals - Fencing: 4 medals - Shooting: 1-2 medals - Judo: "Nobody gives a fuck about bronze medals in our sport"- etc.
  8. Watching his RTBF interview, it doesn't seem that way at all (he speaks shit dutch I believe, so there might some misunderstandings here )
  9. Wilmots not going away apparently...Good-bye "Golden Generation"
  10. http://www.lequipe.fr/Cyclisme-sur-route/Actualites/Antidopage-les-micro-doses-dans-le-viseur/701507 EPO micro dosing are now detectable and night antidoping tests are authorized under strict circonstances. Could be a fun Tour
  11. Thank God, that's finaly over. Belgium/Wales will have a field day to the final.
  12. Fixed (and no favorites to be out after a crash please, not even Froome)
  13. Edit: time to find a stream with english post game comments
  14. Not necessarily (likely still), but Germany/Italy will for sure.
  15. I get it that stars are more user-friendly. But how do you plan to translate them into percentage when the number of stars used will varie a lot between user and events ? * IMO, you could ask people to 'spend' a certain number of stars for each event (say 30 - or 60 if you want 5% precision ). Then, you will have the same scale used all across the boaerd. * Edit: a rule of three won't do it as a five stars won't weight the same thing for someone who will have distributed 15 stars and one who will have distriputed 30 star.
  16. What about going full retard here ? Asking people to give a percentage by nation for each event to win a medal (obv, the total being equal to 300% or 400% for fighting sports). If we have multiple answers for the same event, just make an average. Hopefully, at the end we could have answers for every events and thus a complete Totallympics medal table ready before the Games start I can help for the excel bit if needed
  17. Nah, Greece was doing very little, but they were doing it very well. Iceland is very brave, but that's pretty much it, they'are are not championship material. And for England:
  18. Hydrostadium, a leading compagny in white water courses is working on a temporary course that could be set up pretty much anywhere http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4hzdc5 Tbh, it doesn't seem that much appealing, but it might be what it takes for the sport not to be kicked out of the Olympics (a sport with a massive cost/legacy issue).
  19. Teddy Tamgho just got injured again (knee) during the french nationals at the end of his 5th jump.. which got him the national tittle and his ticket to Rio (17.15m). It looked very, very bad. He had to be carried away out of the sand.on a stretcher... It will be the second time in row that he will miss the Olympics due to injury and his 3rd major injury.. Edit: femur fracture apparently. Season over, possibly career
  20. Fair enough.
  21. Countries besides France and the UK should should start giving two shits about actually building an operational army before thinking of 'army unification' . And I don't think you get my point about Val d'Aoste neither. EDIT: or actually you did - somehow -. It's indeed something that would sound crazy to anyone, and thus is never going to happen. We don't need the EU to be sure of that.
  22. Yeah, that's exactly it. I want the end of the EU so France can finally annex the Val d'Aoste because we all know the UE is really the only thing stopping it at the moment. Peace made the EU possible, not the other way around. We are too old, too confortable and our economies are too mutualy linterconnected for any war to even happen between western european countries. I simply want to get rid of that extra layer of bureaucratic nightmare and the kleptocracts that go with it (we have plenty at home allready, so no thanks). That's it.
  23. European politicains in full denial mode. Nothing to see here, but an 'oportunity' to rebuilt a stronger an EU. L-O-L Guys, UE approval ratings are hitting historic lows, pople will notice that the apocalypse is not going to happen, it is only to get worse. What's next ? Dexit, Nexit, Frexit ? All bets are open
