  3. Some cool news from Czech Republic today. Michael Bugan & For President got the first out of two required 65% qualifying scores for European Dressage Championships this summer... Here's hoping he makes it, would be a historic achievement for Slovakia. Meanwhile, Aniko Losonczy & Mystery managed to get their second 65% score. She becomes the third qualified Hungarian meaning that they will field a team for the first time in decades.
  4. Sinatra Frank Baby, son of Sinatra himself is competing here!
  5. Marilyn Little and Scandalous are in the lead after the first day of dressage in Luhmuhlen. Few riders might challenge her tomorrow, Hoy primarily. Leaderbord here. Oh, and I forgot to mention it last week. Yoshiaki Oiwa & Calle have won quite a strong 3* eventing competition in Braham last weekend... This up and coming partnership seems to be very much on a roll. Don't act all surprised if Japan snatches a medal in eventing in Tokyo.

  11. There will be more new rules in eventing. Riders who get eliminated at one of the stages will be allowed to continue in the team competition only, if their horses pass the vet inspection. Such eliminations would incur additional penalties though. 100 for elimination in dressage/jumping, 150 for XC. There will also be an "active" reserve option. Reserves will be allowed to enter at any stage during the competition. Additional penalties for putting a reserve forward are yet to be decided. Plus, the technical level of XC will be 3* instead of 4*, but still with the same length and same amount of jumping efforts.
  12. Why not open thread for Europeans in fencing? Seems to be enough interest.
  13. The third eventing 4*, Luhmuhlen Horse Trials will be held this week. Entries can be found here Rather a big entry field for Luhmuhlen, but only 6 riders for the home German team. And this is technically the strongest eventing competition in Germany... Participating nations... Australia (3) Belgium (1) Denmark (1) France (4) Germany (6) Great Britain (18) Ireland (4) Italy (1) Netherlands (3) New Zealand (4) South Africa (1) Sweden (1) United States (5) Zimbabwe (1) Go, go Cami Kruger.
  14. Better this than nothing. Although, trailer is the only reference for the list of the events. Maybe there are more to come.
  15. Our most successful paralympian of all time, Milka Milinković, has passed away. She took part at 10 Paralympics, Rio 2016 being the last time...
  16. Rai Benjamin improves his PB to 48.33
  17. Deciding if the thread is important enough could also be made some time after it gets opened. If there are not enough replays eventually, it could be merged with the general discussion thread.
  18. Not quite 33-31, but it came close to that at TT Worlds last week.
  19. Wawrinka thinks tennis ball is an apple.
  20. New user in Tour de Suisse thread. @heywoodu did some magic.
  21. That's it, Haase should have officially played in the final. Wawrinka is not getting more than 8 games.
