  1. Very good test for Peters & Suppenkasper.
  2. Europe gets their say all the time (anyone remembers ridiculous biathlon starting times at Pyeongchang? or ski jumping finishing after midnight?). You can't blame someone for having interests, you can blame the organizers though for not putting the athletes in the first place.
  3. Standings at the second judging break:
  4. Matute Guimon scores 68.509%. A big mistake dropped the score considerably... So 1:0 for Denmark, but I still believe in Spain.
  5. It will be vs for the final spot. Sweden is well ahead.
  6. Endurance competition has finally been restarted. It's going to be a VERY LONG day for those athletes...
  7. Gotta love the atmosphere in the reining arena. Brazilian fans are the loudest. Ann Poels meanwhile took the individual lead after an excellent test. Belgium could be a big threat for USA domination in this event!
  8. Belinda Trussell opens Canadian account with 68%. Not bad considering how low some others have been going, so once again it looks like the Canadians will overperform at the championships.
  9. Rikke Svane is the first to break 70%. This should increase Denmark's qualification chances.
  10. No, there are two individuals only.
  11. Manuel Veiga opens the dressage competition with 64%... American judge was particularly nasty, awarding the Portuguese only 59%...
  12. Provisional standings after loop 1/5... Individual Bhag Singh Abdulla Al-Marri Jaume Punti Dachs Team Spain United Arab Emirates Uruguay And now a wait for the race to be continued... EDIT: Hamdan bin Mohd Al-Maktoum eliminated at vet inspection!
  13. News coming through that the race will be stopped after loop 1 and restarted later. Apparently such decision was made after some riders went the wrong way at several unmarked intersections... Not that I expected much from Tryon (they stepped in to replace Bromont who withdrew from hosting), but the organization so far has been pathetic!
  14. Alex Luque Moral is the early leader as they disappeared into the woods.
  15. Here we go, 117 horses mass start at 6:45am.
  16. Apparently the endurance course will be very technically challenging with many hills. Therefore the minimum required speed has already been reduced from 14 to 12 km/h. This means that some of the slowest finishers could be out on the course for well over 13 hours... Winning time by the way will likely be around 8 hours. Btw here is an external site for endurance tracking and results.
  17. Main option is FEItv, also the paid option ($17.99 for WEG pass), which will broadcast every second. Aside from that, it looks like Eurosport and Eurosport player will broadcast most of the Olympic events. Finally, there might be some VPN options. This might work German VPN, and this might work with French VPN. I haven't tried it so I can't tell if only VPN is enough...
  18. Some galleries... Dressage horse inspection Reining horse inspection Eventing and venues Only 4 more hours till the epic endurance mass start in dawn of the day. Start lists for reining and dressage are up.
  19. It has been reported that several horses have refused to drink local water because it smells funny. Because of that several teams have been buying water from local supermarkets, causing a lack of supplies which was going to be a problem anyway with the upcoming hurricane. What a mess... Btw, this is where the grooms are sleeping. Perfectly hurricane-proof.
  20. Reining and dressage horse inspections have been completed. Everyone passed in reining, while in dressage two of them will be re-inspected later today ( Bariloche and Bluefiels Floreno)... Start lists for tomorrow should be soon available here.
