Between USA/NZ who got rewarded for their so called heroic efforts, and GBS/ARU who did not (Aruban guy even DQ'd for receivung help)... I am guessing the Andorran guy will fall onto the second category.

Meh, I don't like the side by side shot put finals. Becomes too saturated. Like following qualifications almost. Not nearly as bad as having Heptathlon and Decathlon held simultaneously in Tokyo, though...

Portugal stole Dongmo from and Inchude from . Both competed for their previous nations up to the Olympic level. There are many such cases in Portugal. As if someone in their federation has a job of scouting Africans at the Olympics...

I visited the Olympaturm (Olympic Tower) this May. Surely it is a wonderful experience to be up there right now. Munich Olympic Park as a whole is a very beautiful place.
