I mean, Bulgaria and Romania both made the team podium.

Btw, my idea was combining the Special TISC Edition with some other (cultural and such) events like others suggested. Though I guess we can combine everything we can think of and basically end up with some 1900 Summer Olympics all over again.

Yeah, I started "reading" that one through Audible Audiobook (judge me, but it was a free trial). But I gave up after Chapter 3. Mostly because the dude that read it poorly immitated female voices when reading the lines of female characters. So cringeworthy.

Well, since it very much looks as though we will not see any sports competitions this summer (except maybe some national leagues), I wouldn't be against the idea of using would-be Olympic dates for some forum competitions. Only instead of having something every day, how about just having some 3-5 events in total during those 16 days? It can all start with Festival of Music Grand Final Saturday (Olympic Day 1), and then continue into the next couple of weeks with something else. -
What about "town planning" competition, too? It's the only event which brought Monaco an Olympic medal.

2021 European Championships (dressage and jumping) got cancelled. That's really a bad break for Budapest, but apparently they were unable to move their dates.

How about having this dimension for the one-off edition? Instead of revealing all their points, the juries only reveal their medalists. All other points are meanwhile secretly summed up and revealed in bulk, Eurovision-style.

Looks like we have reached the levels of New Zealand and Slovenia in the last couple of days. Pretty good. Now, regarding the second wave, I guess we should learn plenty from places like Austria, Germany and Denmark, who have already started lifting their restrications (in some cases quite considerably)...
