    Which just makes the group more difficult. If Canada can send its best I think they'll do well. But we'll see who shows up.

    Pretty tough draws for both of them (assuming Spain and Greece get in), but it's always going to be tough at the Olympics. The goal for both teams is to make it to the quarters without facing the Americans there.

    That split would have moved Canada past the US into silver position in Tokyo, less than a tenth of a second behind Australia. Looks like Canada has their breaststroke sorted for Paris, there may even be a bit of a fight over the spot. Hopefully the other positions can stay just as strong.

    I somehow had her a second slower when I initially looked at the splits.

    You put Angus' split from here into Canada's 2021 Olympic relay and they finish less than a tenth behind the OR setting Aussies. Obviously that team had a peak MacNeil and Masse along with a still top Oleksiak. But it's still very promising.

    Great first two legs by Wilm and Angus. And then the last two legs took place. Bronze still good, but they'll need Maggie and Oleksiak(?) to help.

    Yeah, thought she might even press for bronze for a second, but she faded badly. Basically, O'Croinin improved her time from the morning a bit and everything else stayed about the same. The subs didn't add anything. Oh well, they'll have Summer and a hopefully back in form Oleksiak for Paris.

    His time would have gotten him a medal in 2016. Top 5 in 2020 and 2023 WC. Great news.

    Not a great relay for Canada. Less than a second better than the heats. I know this isn't their top team, but expected a bit more.
