just a quick analysis of women from the weightlifting weighht championships analysing the selections of CHN and PRK for the womens weightlifting which they have dominated this time The Golden collection would be the likely chinese selection - They would definitely want 4 golds from the women I would guess they would select 49, 55, 64 , 87 where they have almost a sure GOLD , they also have a 87+ gold but with Tatiana a strong contender who can give Li a run for the money they would prefer the 49 ............. Qualification criteria , top 8 as per ranking very clear, then one per continent not rep in the rank ( presuming top ranked continental lifter ) , one either tripartite or host..... So if let us say we have 8 selects then 2 continental lifters from say Africa , is Aus Or oceania a continent ..... What happens to the remaining 2 ?

I personally feel the Indian federation and wrestlers are being bullied in allowing sushil to still get the 74 place in the Indian team while we do have amit shankar Or jitender who was in 79 and did well .... I personally think it is time he retires but sushil sees this has last hurrah. So we will see him at the Asian qualifier and he is reserving his energy for the events he has the best chance at...... 97 is our weakest: mausam has been there for years and no improvement, I think it is time someone like vicky a world junior medallist is coached and built up

We had denied pak visas for Shooting world cup and I personally thought that was so crappy and they made a huge hue and cry removed some of the quotas and removed a couple of int events we we're assigned but US / UK do it so often and no Body tells them off

Greco : India is just not at world standard but Gurpreet may be the best we have and could qualify at the Asian Qualifier so some improvement Women's : India did ok last time finished in the top 10 with bronze, this time also was was the same Freestyle : terrific improvement from being like 1 bronze regularly to 4 bronzes........in the team rating in the second group with USA, IRI GEO with the pts btw 70-90 after RUS who was very much beyond the rest ....... This was the first we did so well... Also if a couple of dinosaurs like the great Sushil and Mausam leave Or retire we can further improve to one of the top teams
