Canada definitely didn't deserve a medal after our performance but like if someone was doping I want to see them out.

Evan McEachran got an 93 on his first in the Big Air final. EDIT: this is going to be an insane final based on the first few competitors.

I love this way of thinking about it. I think the one that seems most concerning right now is the Freestyle Skiing - but it's not impossible to get those medals. Bobsleigh has the potential to bring multiple medals. Speed Skating is also possible to over perform with some key events coming in the next few days. I'm really really hoping for an Alpine medal of some sort too, I suspect our best chances have passed us with some great results from Crawford but there still is some hope. I don't know Biathlon well enough to know if Scott Gow is competitive in the other events.

Two Canadians in the top 10 is impressive. I think we'll also see him in the combined.

Because Canada has a shot or because you are interested? Scott Gow does have his one 4th place World Cup finish.

Insane. I never expected a medal in ski jumping.

I was so impressed with the level of competition in Big Air. Great for Evan. Hopefully we see some strong results for Teal, Edouard and Max in Slopestyle.

Maybe @orangemancan comment on Beijing geography but I'm finding it odd that Catriona Le May Doan is at the Big Air qualifications.

In the end I have no complaints - hopefully this is the beginning of a confident streak from him.

Ha - I meant that it wasn't the same watching the other feed. Happy that Rob and Craig are back on now. Crawford had a decent run in the downhill. Not an expert here so not sure what to expect.

It just doesn't hit the same without Craig and Rob.

0 idea why CBC is not airing slopestyle live. There also appears to be different international commentary on my ipad and computer..... The CBC digital coverage has gone downhill compared to a few years ago.

The Downhill should be interesting. I’m hoping that the Canadians perform well there even if a medal isn’t really in the cards. I’m hopeful for some strong curling results today
