I thought Denmark would come through this group but it’s not that shocking neither. It was more shocking how many people had tipped them as a dark horse to win the World Cup. That was just totally unrealistic. What is shocking to me though is Australia qualifying to the knockouts! I never saw that coming at all! I’m delighted for them though, love seeing this type of team battling their way through the group against the odds

Group A was overall very disappointing. I still think Netherlands can go deep into this tournament though. Delighted to see Senegal go through, I’ve always liked them since their fairytale debut in 2002.

So who is going home after today? In Group A we already know that Qatar are out and I think Senegal might be joining them. In Group B I think we will be saying goodbye to Wales and USA. I am confident at least 2 of those are right (and I am including Qatar as one of those 2)

Halftime pundits on Irish TV also mentioned the word justice after the missed penalty as they said they were amazed it was given I agree about officiating at this World Cup, it’s been inconsistent at best.

No matter what happens here in this match, Belgium are the most overrated team in international football and have been for years.

With all the stoppage time in this World Cup the match will still probably last 95 minutes even if he cuts 5 minutes from regulation time!

I'm not sure if there is a Junior Eurovision thread so decided to post this here. My friend is visiting me in Donegal so I am showing him around and one of the places I brought him to today was Fanad Lighthouse. We got a tour of the lighthouse and the guide told us that last week the Junior Eurovision entry filmed the video for the song there last week. So as soon as I got home I thought to check it out.... it's cool to see the location in the video where I was exactly today. I thought @rybak might be interested by this fact

According to the voting templates posted during the Grand Final, India’s 2 points awarded by the jury from Argentina were added to New Zealand in the scoreboard. So we need @Hipooo and @konig to confirm who actually should have gotten those 2 points.

That’s wonderful, glad you enjoyed your first experience. The threads of most of the previous contests are available on the forum so if you ever feel bored some day, you can re-live one of those Grand Finals also And you are more than welcome to join our next edition as a participant. The next one is being hosted in Spain in the early months of 2023 (final will probably be March) and is for songs released in the past year. Hope to see you with us

Thanks for the votes and congratulations on the great result for Greece! I love reading these posts from the Greek jury and the Croatian jury too where they finally got a breakthrough result. Good luck for next time again!
