Unfortunately I am in the middle of a job reallocation between continents (I have my flight tomorrow) and did not have time to attend the final, but I was not expecting at all to get a double medal.
 
Congratulations as well to my fellow teammates @Dnland @Glen for the team gold medal (what a rollercoaster! from 8th in the first split to gold medal) and the other medallists @OlympicIRL and Team  (@Gianlu33, @Henry_Leon, @Pablita, @SteveParker).
 
I hope we keep this wonderful tradition alive and hopefully I will be able to find time and host again in the future.

Meanwhile using the break to say I am mostly absent here this time, unlike usually, but for good reason: besides being busy with Bruna's races and so on, it seems like - and that still is a big 'seems like', it is not yet official - her opponent in the fight for the Olympic cross-country skiing ticket has thrown in the towel, won't race tomorrow (the last day of qualifying) and with that.....it would be our very own (and my very own ) Bruna who qualifies for the Olympics  
 
As most here probably know, she qualified for Beijing, but had a bad car accident on the way in which the driver died and she had to be airlifted to the hospital. An accident that happened not 100km from where the Olympics will be next month...
 
Again, nothing official yet and out of caution I haven't really shared much about it in the past months here, but I did want to take the moment to mention this carefully good news on a day that is always already so positive - TISC Grand Final Day

Well, that horse has well and truly bolted.  Once you allow Kazakhstan, UAE & Bahrain to have teams and Saudia Arabia to host a race then you have not much standing to forbid Israel. 
 
And don't get me started about Linda McCartney's Vegetarian Sausages!  

Then 90% of all countries shouldnt be allowed to participate as they were killing and destroying others.
Protesting is OK but ruining every single event just to show your POV is just plainly insane.
What will be next? They will block Nobel Prize ceremonies, cultural events? 
This is dispicable behaviour.

Spain should be SEVERELY punished by UCI. Their incompetence is monstrous.
