Dnl got a reaction from CCB in Track Cycling UCI World Championships 2025
Unfortunately he hasn’t fulfilled his potential this time around, but he still young and I believe he can improve both physically and mentally to be more prepared for LA in 2028 and even for next World championship

Yes indeed, keirin always is a sort of a lottery. Yakovlev had bad luck in the final, but his best chance (the individual sprint) is yet to come. Lavreysen and Hoogland will appear tired at the start tomorrow, because they also ride the 1 km today.

That’s because you want a second Holocaust to happen.

At minimum, nations who do this should be banned from hosting events for a number of years.

Suddenly nobody is starving in Gaza or needing boatloads of food delivered by bad-tempered Swedes.

Well, that horse has well and truly bolted. Once you allow Kazakhstan, UAE & Bahrain to have teams and Saudia Arabia to host a race then you have not much standing to forbid Israel.
And don't get me started about Linda McCartney's Vegetarian Sausages!

Then 90% of all countries shouldnt be allowed to participate as they were killing and destroying others.
Protesting is OK but ruining every single event just to show your POV is just plainly insane.
What will be next? They will block Nobel Prize ceremonies, cultural events?
This is dispicable behaviour.

Spain should be SEVERELY punished by UCI. Their incompetence is monstrous.

And has sadly died. Urge anyone to watch his videos on YT - he regularly debated & won using polite language & classical rules of rhetoric. So naturally the Left hated him.

Looks like some of the Hamas leaders who preferred to say big words from their cozy residences in Qatar have found those residences to be somewhat less valuable, considering Israel bombed them today.

And of course it was all lying propaganda. Life repeats the first verse of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water."
"Some stupid with a flare gun...."
You can do your own air guitar.

I think the hosting burden can be trimmed a lot. As much as people like to have some type of opening and closing ceremonies, with facts about the countries, it's extra, extra work for the organizer. We, as worldwide sporting fans likely already know most of the facts about the host country, so it's not that necessary for having the contest. People will be much more inclined to host, if it's just calculating the results and preparing only the general tables of the Grand finale.
I don't think people have issues with the listening of the songs, after all there is usually a month or more for submitting the votes, so there is enough time. If people listen to 3 songs every day, that's just 12 minutes.

Well I can surely say I’ve used the tracker A LOT and it’s one of my favourites things here, would be nice if we could combine between a country’s club to the tracker, so that people could see and use the information relevant to their country, that’s what I currently have in mind,
I’ll use this moment to thank you @Matej and @Sindo and of course others who make this site so much interactive and informative and overall better with those kind of things

Dnl got a reaction from heywoodu in Summer Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 Venues
I agree, and again as long as it’s in those small non relevant things and as long as it’s not visible I’m fine with it but if we going to have uniform covered in sponsors we’ll have a trouble or even the LA-KFC 2028 games or something along those lines

Dnl got a reaction from Olympicsnell in Summer Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 Venues
Honestly it’s not a bad thing the naming of a place is not that important and if a company wants to throw money on the “brand’s name” aquatic stadium for the 2 weeks it will be existing, I don’t mind, it a great financial gain for the Olympics and for the hosting city, and don’t forget the Olympics had trouble for a while attract cities for financial reasons, and it can be a way to attract more bids from cities in the future

It's already been a year since I went to my second Olympic Games (third if we count the 2018 Youth Games).
Magical days in a truly beautiful city (as were Rio and Buenos Aires). Some few Games-related pictures below:

It has been announced the 2026 Volleyball Continental Championships will award quotas for LA28. So the current qualifying rounds for the 2026 CEV European Championships can be considered as Olympic Qualification Events. I have added them in the calendar.

Dnl reacted to Sindo in Summer Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 Qualification Calendar
The LA2028 Olympic qualification calendar pages have been set up: https://totallympics.com/qualification-tracker/los-angeles-2028/qualification-calendar/
Even though official qualification documents have been not been released yet, I have already added events which most probably will be LA28 qualification events based on previous experience, such as 2027 FIBA World Cup, Handball 2027 World Championships, UEFA U21 2027 European Championship etc., with all the respective pre-qualifying rounds. And of course the current CONMEBOL Copa Feminina
If you see any missing events or you think there events which 99.9% will be Olympic qualification events, please feel free to report them here and I will add them to the calendar.
Thanks!

In the tug-of-war, much like in 1940, put up a fight as much as they could, but capitulated shockingly fast against . Too bad, after already being pulled over by a bunch of small Taiwanese guys, this is certainly done.
