    MC1 MK1 WC1 (to be confirmed) WK1 (to be confirmed) Actually Chinese women got both golds on canoeing and kayaking, but according to qualification document, one quota maximum per gender on continental qualifier. I actually don't know if China's can choose either WK1 or WC1 or automatically allocated WC1. But Chinese media widely reported got WC1 though I can't verify it.

    As I said. They may or maybe not on the list of 120 countries with lending relationships and 150 countries with infrastructure contracts with China. I can’t memorize all of them and their uniqueness. And I have to admit I even never hear the name Zanzibar before. Most of time I just don’t know and don’t care. Still thanks for your appreciation of those idk projects.

    From China’s perspective, Sri Lanka is one of many countries with financial services and infrastructure contracts with China. It’s not more special than others, what may be a bit of unique is that it was facing a default while others were not.

    Different people have different views about it and it varies a lot. What most people would agree is that China should be smart enough to avoid a war. A hot war is the dumbest way to deal with a issue.

    Is it the freedom of speech we are longing for? BTW to be practical, China is busy struggling with its economic problems currently and it has no desire or motivation to be dragged into the middle east conflicts though most people feel sympathy for Palestinian civilians.

    It will be a very attractive tournament for Chinese fans as ex OG champions Lim and Liu brothers will compete for at the same time. Because of their naturalization and participation, this sport is at least 10 times popular than before in China.

    not really. it only counts best 10 tournaments and there still are many tournaments that time. Not too difficult to get one quota per event I think.

    The North Korean 49kg weightlifter just appear out of nowhere, take the gold and break the WR. I think other categories may also repeat this fantasy. Not sure how IWF and IOC will handle their Olympics qualification. From my point of view, they are not constantly attending requiring tournaments and not being timely monitored doping status. So according to the qualification document, they should not be granted quotas.

    Chinese gymnasts in Asian Games will not attend WCH and I think Japan is the same. China send Men's A team(quota achieved before) and Women's B team to Asian Games. And I think Japan send both B teams to Asian Games.

    Yes. Amazing result. China did a good job but Korea is just amazing tonight. BTW just in case some of you guys don't know before, male Asian Games champions and Olympic Games medalists will be exempt from compulsory military service about 2 years. So basically male athletes may be more motivated than other countries.

    Rumor has it that China officials on purposely reduce some participating events and athletes to release some pressure of organizing committee as it is biggest ever game. China even has lower athletes number than 2014 Asian Games in Korea and lower number than Thailand in this game.

    I am in Hangzhou and trying very hard to buy tickets here but still only limited matches successfully bought. I basically watch 1-2 matches on court and rest time I watch cellphone. Every time that I failed I was thinking why there are so many people in China.

    The idea is good but the presentation is still lame for me. The effect is likely generated by university student and the fireworks as well.
