  1. So many dramatic moments and I don't know how to express my feeling of the up-and-downs. Maybe only badminton fans following the whole tournaments know what I am saying. Still ultimately we are the champions.
  2. I am gonna just be a full time spectator and I am worried about the accommodation fee at the National Day holiday in Hangzhou. Keep in touch if we are in Hangzhou or Beilun at that time.
  3. I think I will because the tournament is at the same time of Asian Games in Hangzhou just 200km away. I think I will spend a couple of days in Beilun to watch it while I will spend majority of time in Hangzhou to watch Asian Games.
  4. It’s almost confirmed now that it will be held in Beilun, Ningbo, Zhejiang where is the traditional volleyball training base for Chinese NT. The news is released by Ningbo local government. @Jan Linha

  7. Apparently too much stress and expectation on Wang Changhao these two days, this result is slower than last stage and prelim this morning. Hope he can find a way to adjust himself and relive the stress.

  13. This version seems not including the result of latest Canadian stage. At least not including China's score on this stage so I found it.
  14. According to multiple unofficial resources, Kyle Anderson will go to China as neutralized player in around 10 days after dealing with his eye injury. He will play World Cup and hopefully OG for China once the neutralization process finishes.
  15. It’s almost confirmed that WTA will be back in China this season along with ATP and ITF. It’s scheduled 8 tournaments including Shenzhen WTA Finale and WTA 1000 China Open. Let’s grab money in China.
  16. Ma Long is 35 after all. Ma Long didn’t lose to anyone, just lose to time. Not sure if he will appear on Paris yet, he has to prove himself once again on WCH.
  17. Lin is a very talented player and it's not an upset for me. Hopes to see his bigger progress one day like winning a high level tournament.
  18. Once again it’s all because we are both not the one on the court facing bullets and missiles. We are the one typing on keyboard and restructuring world order based on our own geopolitical idealism. Yet people are continuously dying. From my point of view, maybe your death makes hero at this point, but 20 years 50 years later, no one remember s you except your beloved ones. And your sacrifice may even become a joke at that timing.
  19. The best politics is to avoid the war at the very beginning instead of sacrifice a whole generation or ethnic to win. Actually this is no win of war, all war ends up with diplomatic agreement sooner or later, more deaths or less. All battles, deaths and control points shipments are merely oral bargaining chips on the table one day. I don’t support Russians who started the hot war. But at this point, I just want it stop as soon as possible through diplomacy. Whoever advocates war something like we have to win is cruel and cold blooded as you don’t literally fight on court facing death at all time.
  20. Chinese media reported that China is making effort to neutralize Kyle Anderson and he is also willing to accept the offer. Kyle Anderson has 1/8 Chinese blood heritage and that’s the reason why he’s selected by Chinese association. If everything progresses smoothly, he will play World Cup for China and the ultimate purpose is earning Olympic berth on World Cup with his participation.
  21. the previous qualification document writes 2 teams per nation for mixed team race walking. who knows what they will change in last minute.
  22. I think Du Yue might not be fully retired, but leaving national team, otherwise teammates won’t send best wishes to her.
  23. Chinese olympian Du Yue and OG champion Wang Yilyu are reportedly retired, at least from national team level. It's not a big surprise for badminton fans if you keep following their matches and obviously their competence declined sharply after Tokyo OG.
  24. All speculations about Liu Brothers are clear now. They will participate Chinese national championships on 2023/03/31-2023/04/02 and represented Team Tianjin where their father is from. This event is also served as trials of national team for next season. Their performance will definitely be the spot light of the event and they need it to convince fans and team.
