  1. A horse that jumps Looking fairly good for Laura.
  2. Yup, it's nice that Krupeckaitė and Marozaitė got to prove themselves and that their training is working. Many cycling stars are here, so it's not super easy to medal in these
  3. Oooph, what a disaster. We might leave these games without winning any medals. Only track-cycling can pull through now.
  4. Yes, only the winners of men's and women's race qualify directly.
  5. I'm honestly triggered that someone found it necessary to move my post here
  6. Well, if Laura doesn't get a horse named 'Disobedience', I think she should be capable of qualifying by winning the World Cup final, since she already came 1st in Fencing.
  7. In a perfect world, only the final round results could have been counted in the fight for the medals
  8. Isn't it lovely??? Isn't it wonderful???
  9. You know what would make the European Games Athletics competition even more epic? If they had different disciplines on the repechage in the quarterfinal and those countries that qualified directly to semifinals today would be locked out of the chance to win any medals on Tuesday
  10. I think this message summarises this entire event for me
  11. Interesting development in the competition. With Belgium finishing first and third Ukraine finishing second twice and Lithuania getting third and first All three countries finished on equal points and Lithuania won due to points difference, getting back into the Grand Prix league as well as Ukraine joining them in the Olympic qualification, with Belgium out.
  12. Just as I thought there couldn't be anything more stupid, round high jumping comes in to steal the show
  13. I'm a bit out of the loop for this event, so cycling does not count for qualification points in Olympics?
  14. Is anybody actually excited for this?
  15. Joining in on the thread. I'm pretty much a runner, but I'm still very slow. Although planning to improve the times during Summer still... 3km - 15:56 5km - 26:50 10km - 1:00:55
  16. Well, Lithuania crushed the 1st day of the President's Cup, although, Estonia is leading in the team standings: Two national records for Lithuania and a good performance from Edis as well, their results are top three after the first day. It's interesting that out of the top 10 results, 5 of them are from Javelin Throw, two from High Jump and Long Jump and lastly one from Triple Jump. This is pretty much proof that the Baltics ain't runners
  17. OH MY GOD I'M QUAKING Liveta Jasiūnaitė just broke the Lithuanian Javelin Throw record from 2007, with a throw of 63.98 (2 centimetres off of Olympic Quota) She just showed that that European Championships bronze medal was no fluke and that she is a real deal. Madara Palameika of Latvia ended up in second with 62.16 and Liina Laasma of Estonia finished third with 60.78
  18. The wind was 1.4, so we have a new Lithuanian Triple Jump record by Dovilė Dzindzaletaitė 14.26
  19. First strong result of the day, everybody's beloved Dovilė Dzindzaletaitė jumped 14.26 on the third attempt, WCH standard, 6cm off of an Olympic standard and I just checked, a new Lithuanian National Record by 3 centimetres!!!!!!!!! Three more attempts to go, don't know the legitimacy of the wind, will have to update in a bit, I guess.
  20. In four hours, President's cup, pretty much a Baltic championship when you send 2 athletes from your country in every discipline is going to start. Of course, expecting some WCH and maybe OG standards to be met today and going to update if anything good happens.
  21. Airinė Palšytė seems to have lightly injured herself during a 1.96 jump.
  22. Andrius Gudžius Discus Throw - 66.03 in his first competition after an operation, manages to throw a qualifying mark on 5th attempt at LLAF Cup.
  23. Starting with one interesting fact is that Gudžius actually decided to participate here and it's his first competition after his operation.
  24. LLAF Cup starting today and it will end on Saturday. Expecting some WCH, U23 ECH, U20 ECH and Olympic Festival qualifying marks and if we're really lucky, maybe some Olympic standards Will keep you updated, if anything good happens.
