  1. We used 12 officials all armed with rulers and a bachelor's degree in math to determine that Ireland most likely ran faster than Hungary.
  2. The one where several Hungarians armed with baseball bats smash during the race when they see that Ireland is edging them out
  3. Nah, I refuse to make any assumptions until I see that 1/5 of our team isn't out with injuries in two years
  4. In order to avoid any immediate heartbreak, the relay results are going to be announced in two years time.
  5. Kančytė with that PB scored 3 points and now the only way for us to reach our 3 point quota would be an NM in long jump and a DQ in the relay... And Regalaitė already destroyed that with the 4.95 metre jump... We're heading towards 5 points instead of 3, watch out Cze, Enia, Slovakia.
  6. Congratulations @hckosice. From Czech Republic, Slovenia and Slovakia. So multi-cultural.
  7. I liked the way the Norwegian girl just decided that she doesn't want to run with those slowpokes in the back
  8. Scratch that whole 'overtaking Slovakia' part, I've just noticed we still have women's long jump, 5000 metres and men's 4x400. That's nearly guaranteed 3 points for us there.
  9. Finally we are starting our very slow climb out of last place, possibly. Something to cheer for? Perhaps. Although, this is what is expected. With Andriukaitytė, Galvydytė, Palšytė, Gudžius, Piliušina, Morenaitė and Petrokaitė we would have even survived relegation.
  10. Well, Kinderis hasn't been quick in the laser runs lately, so I'm fairly glad that he at least held on to the qualification to the Olympics
  11. Yeahhhh, my thoughts exactly. Yesterday I watched without sound and played my own music on top
  12. Mmmmm, that 1 point in the Men's 5000 looks tasty Give us 15 minutes to get ahold of it.
  13. Can't wait for all those running events without Lithuania and our plummeting down the standings
  14. Yeah, but that is only enough for two qualification groups. With 8 spots on the line, you'd expect everyone to go all out in this one, because it's probably the easiest chance to qualify.
  15. I would have expected more participants if there are 8 direct quotas on the line.
  16. Does this championship have any significance in Olympic Qualifying? No direct quotas, but influences the individual ranking points?
  17. Well, I wouldn't call Morauskaitė an outlier, she is strong and her SB didn't look as good mainly because she was focusing on the 400m hurdles. As for the 200m, it is not slightly disappointing, it is highly disappointing. Even with Agnė recovering from an injury, I would have never expected her to run closer to 25s, than 24s.
  18. Although, in a year with four of our best athletes injured (Airinė Palšytė) or recovering from injuries (Gudžius, Šerkšnienė, Virbalytė), 4 national records were smashed this year as well with new stars emerging
  19. Yeah, our sprinting has gone to shit pretty much after our generation of sprinters have left the sport and the best sprint coach died four years ago. What doesn't help is injuries from Šerkšnienė and Andriukaitytė that would have been a reliable final in 200 and 400m. Morauskaitė couldn't run the 400m hurdles due to a health condition and ran the 400 instead, adding to the fact that Galvydytė left for USA to study and 400m Hurdles also went to shit, yeah, it's a year of injuries and disasters for Lithuania, which is why I'm not even too excited for my most favourite competition. It's probably the weakest line up that we've sent in the last 5-6 years of competing in the Team Championships.
  20. She's recovering from an injury, so this season is already lost for her.
  21. We already secured four 9th places and an 11th. I think we're in the lead at the moment.
