I obviously don't mind the result (I think Parrot should have won in 2018 so I'm not going to quibble with the judges "accidentally" giving it to him in 2022) but I want this controversy to bother the FIS enough for them to change how the judging process works. This is three Olympics in a row now where the judging in slopestyle has been wonky.

So based on interviews the head judge of men’s snowboard slopestyle gave we can pretty definitively say that Parrot won gold because the angle they were given by the TV director didn’t show his missed grab. So we got away with one there. (though I feel like Parrot deserved to win in 2018 and was underscored in 2014 so whatever, he used up his built up karma on that run)

The head judge of the men’s slopestyle event confirmed that none of the judges say Parrot’s missed grab. Apparently they weren’t given a good angle on that feature. It’s being heavily implied the judges themselves think they got the results wrong. Additional note: the judges only got one camera angle for each feature, which wasn’t necessarily consistent from run to run, and could only request a replay from a different angle for one feature per run. No wonder the judging was wonky.

No medals, but IMO apart from women's ski big air (and Roman D: ) all the results today were pretty good.

The scary thing for the rest of the world is that Stefania Constantini is 22, which is a baby in curling terms. She's gonna get better than this.

This is only the third time a team goes undefeated in an Olympic curling tournament (after Martin in 2010 and Jones in 2014).

I'm guessing the old Olympic ice stadium in Cortina is going to be a happening place in 2026 :D

This is the first world or Olympic medal they’ve ever won. I don’t think many people saw this coming.
