There are plenty of sports only few countries play. There would be 5to6 sports remain, if you want to see sports played in the major part of the world. Swimming is not played in most part of the Africa etc....

So big day tomorrow. Here's what's at stake:
Pool A: Canada vs. Cuba - 15:00 ET/20:00 CET
Puerto Rico has already clinched a spot in the quarterfinals. This matchup will determine who will join them from this Pool.
If Canada wins, they will finish 1st in Pool A, Puerto Rico will finish 2nd, and Cuba is eliminated If Cuba wins, they will finish 2nd in Pool A, Puerto RIco will finish 1st, and Canada is eliminated
Pool B: Italy vs. Mexico - 19:00 ET/0:00 CET
After the upset by Italy over the US today, Italy, Mexico and the US all have a chance of advancing to the quarterfinals.
If Italy wins, they will finish 1st in Pool B, the US will finish 2nd and Mexico is eliminated If Mexico wins in 9 innings and scores 4 or fewer runs, the US is out and Italy and Mexico advance. If Mexico wins in 9 innings and scores 5 or more runs, Italy is out and the US and Mexico advance.
Pool D: Dominican Republic vs. Venezuela - 20:00 ET/1:00 CET
One of the biggest rivalries in baseball featuring two powerhouses writes another chapter. This time, the stakes are bigger than ever. Both teams have already clinched a spot in the quarterfinals but the winner of this matchup will win Pool D and be in the driver's seat for an Olympic quota.
If the Dominican Republic wins, they will face South Korea in the quarterfinals and Venezuela would face Japan If Venezuela wins, they will face South Korea in the quarterfinals and the Dominican Republic would face Japan -

This was extremely amazing
There were only few ways that Korea could advance.. and the 7-2 was last one.
Red case (5-0, 6-1, 7-2) was the only way korea wins... green for austrailia, blue for chinese taipei

Kind of weird to see federations announcing their speed skating teams; the ISU has not confirmed team sizes yet. I think today is the deadline for submissions and it is possible for the ISU to reduce some of the numbers.

Therefore, the women's case would be much more simple. 1500m SOQC 35th, Hongkong(HKG) 1 could not get the new quota as they have never earned any quota places before 1000m. Instead, SOQC 37th, GBR 1 could get place instead.

After thorough review, I found that the rule should be applied like this
Quota should be added when new members SOQC has reached his or her turn.
And the turn comes in 500-1000-1500 sequence.
Also, if the starting place reaches 8, the additional quota is given, as soon as possible.
And though it is my opinion, the total quota is 112, but the more important thing is that men's quota is 56 and women's quota is also 56. Therefore, 57th quota could not be given to either sex.
Therefore in Men's 1500m, When 4 teams with 8th starting place is reached (KOR, CAN, ITA, CHN) the men's quota is not 56 yet. (SOQC <27th in 1500m) However, when 3th member of NED gets starting place, and more importantly, new quota in relay discipline, the 56th member is full. This means that next order, USA3 and the Great Britain 2 starting place, which has no quota in 500, 1000 discipline, could not also be assigned. Therefroe, SOQC 37th, 38th would get starting place.
