Well, I predicted Poland would win as I guess most did, but I did also predict in some other thread that Italy would win gold in Paris with this strong new generation. Maybe their time has come even sooner than I thought.

Bronze for Ireland! Amazing achievement for them.

Bronze v Gold v got 5th for what it's worth. Just like 4 years ago.

We lost, obviously, but by a short margin. No luck whatsoever for our team lately, not only due to the draw but also our best player missed the game with gastroenteritis. Ireland is in semifinals which is the big surprise. They took down England and South Africa. Now it's v and v for the title.

I know since like two weeks ago that our team won't get past QF as they will play NZ, who are seeded lower than usual because they skipped world series stages. This tournament is very stupid and IMO the champion will have less merits than any series stage winner.

I get one can feel the need to present condolences to the british people but do you really feel any significant emotional connection to a foreign monarch?

With France out IMO Poland is already champion. Italy too inexperienced to win a final against them, Slovenia not good enough, Brazil not in shape to beat them away, Argentina never beats Poland. Of course, this comment will age horribly tomorrow when they lose to USA.

If I had to pick ONE opponent from the top 8 for our team to play in this match (other than Netherlands) I'd have picked Serbia... but playing like they have played so far, with the ridiculous number of errors they give away every game, it'll be impossible to win. So, I hope they take this full week before the match to find some spirit within them.

In Tournament A is basically qualified already for div I in 2023 and is for div II, however in the last matchday the two giants & will decide who plays in div II and who goes to div III next year. Since they tied the game between them 2-2 it will decided on GD against the two other teams. For reference, already lost 0-9 to , while lost 0-15 to ....
