    People like me who watched/listened it for the first time will be impressed. I'm pretty sure.

    Greece - ok but it'll 100% go unnoticed. Iceland - would rather work in a series or movie as the tune to roll the credits. Liked it personally.

    Last 3 songs were so meh that I didn't listen them from start to end and went to watch Messi's goals instead.

    Netherlands - love when they send gloomy songs. Not as great as some from the past but pretty good. Ukraine - points for showcasing their culture but no, it shouldn't win. Germany - typical German soft rock entry. Bland at first but got pretty good by the end.

    Italy - Beautiful, excellent, 12 points. Torino 2023 please. Spain - Generic song but she's an amazing performer.

    France, Norway - not my favorite style of music. Armenia - Beautiful staging, song is fine too.

    Portugal - forgettable Finland - pretty good. Nice performance and decent song. Switzerland - don't really like his voice. Is anyone else annoyed when someone sings a sad song and then goes "wooo thank you" as soon as they finish? Really breaks the mood for me lol

    First listening impressions: Czechia - okayish Romania - good choreo but song is trash

    Windsurf is the same but they have like 15 less people. Don't see why laser should be different but even then just a little cut compared to them would be good IMO. Of course it doesn't have to be the small nations/universality getting cut, just the middle pack that always qualify but never do anything (would include us for example).

    I never understand why do we need 40 people for each of the laser events when at best 12 are competitive. IOC could easily shave 20 (10 & 10) quotas there and use them for other sports or just save to keep the overall games athlete quota within the desired margins.

    Good final push with 7 golds today but not enough.

    It's mostly because they will win everything in skating (8 medals with no serious competition in this continent...) and because of one boy that won everything in gymnastics except the rings (7 golds lol). Other than that it's not really an impressive performance from them.

    Rulli gifted 3,5 of the 5 goals to Liverpool. Terrible keeper.

    I believe it's because there was a big shift between kids that already finished and those that compete this week. The lodging in these games is limited (there's nothing like an athletes village, I think they are in hotels). Understand, all this is being organized with pennies.

    Boys rugby final 53-0 Other than the girl gymnastics it's a discreet home performance so far.

    Spain is disqualified (for the second consecutive time) due to fielding an ineligible naturalized player. Romania qualifies in their place and Portugal goes to the Intercontinental repechage.

    The plays that Algerians complain about were basically 50/50s so probably nothing will come out of it unless they can prove that the ref took bribes or something like that.

    won a world series stage after 13 years by defeating Fiji in the Vancouver final. Amazing season so far for the boys with one gold, one silver, three bronzes and just a 5th place as worst result.

    Around 150 athletes. Right now our delegation would only compete for top places in a few team sports and nothing else. But, that projection could improve after I see the results of a few individual World Championships this year.

    What a waste of money to send a team to this. I hope they enjoy the city landmarks at least.
