    The battle for fifth place in the medal table has been quite a spectacle. Up until the beginning of today, there were 5 countries in the running, but now it will probably be a battle between and (each has a gold medal almost guaranteed to come).

    Yes, there was a lot of talk here that surfers like Medina and Vaast were favorites in Tahiti because the judges in Tahiti valued that type of trick. I always wondered, how did they value it? Is it simply a question of which trick the judge likes the most and that's it? In any case, I maintain my position, this should not be an Olympic sport.

    An aerial like that only gets an 8, seriously? You can say that the criteria for this sport are subjective, but if that thing isn't worth at least a 9, what kind of shitty sport is this? And curiously, JJF with a simpler trick gets a higher score than that?

    Yes, the Polish woman is the best in the world and there is no doubt about that. But even the best have to abide by the rules, no matter how unfair they may be. Just as the organizers allowed her to compete and only disqualified her later, as a high-level athlete she should also know how things work. You can judge the Brazilian character however you want, but there was a rule and it was not followed.

    Brazil too. That's a shame. People seem to be more excited than ever about the Paralympics, but no one will be able to watch. A missed opportunity.

    I still can't believe this team got the silver. Considering the way this team plays, I think it's a satisfactory result.

    In the quarterfinal match, she was sick, if I'm not mistaken she even left in a wheelchair. Obviously, her performance in that match was horrible. Well, many brazilians didn't wait for this information before attacking the athlete. She received many hate messages, asking her to stop competing and some even more extreme than that (if you know what I mean).

    Well, I know that all of this started because of AP's actions, but I'm happy for her too. You think that some Brazilians were toxic to Brandie, but you don't know what they can do to their own people. She suffered a lot in Tokyo 2020 and this response now must have been a relief for her. As she said in an interview yesterday: "When you talk (Brazilians) now, also say that we gave our blood to be Olympic champions for you."

    Well, it's a shame that a rule that causes so much confusion is in operation. But this is the Volleyball World.

    I can't say I'm sad, but I agree with you. And this isn't something exclusive to this game, unfortunately VW has lost control of this type of action. Bizarre.
