If correct, this should mean that we would have 25 judokas in Lima, which would be insane, since in the last Pan American Championships we had "only" 18 athletes and won 17 medals.

The broadcast quality of some sports was also poor (especially judo). But perhaps they'll take note of this and improve for 2031. In any case, I think if it's at least better than Santiago 2023, I'll be satisfied.

I think Judo is the only olympic sport where I have no doubt that we are strong and that we will continue to be strong in the future. 7 gold medals so far, another good tournament for our young athletes.

It seems like every time I decide to watch fencing, there are a lot of complaints, arguments with referees, and athletes with inflated egos. It seems like a pretty chaotic sport. Of course this is just my random impression.

Considering these teams, I think it's very unlikely that the four semifinalists won't be Brazil vs. Slovenia and Poland vs. France. Perhaps Italy could surprise France. The rest of the teams all seem incomplete in some way (especially the USA).

Considering Japan is without key players and Brazil is undergoing a roster change, it's understandable that Poland easily defeated them. But Italy, with the full squad of reigning world champions, performing like this is somewhat disappointing.

I'm happy with this bronze medal. I don't think even the most optimistic fan had any more faith in this team after the last few years. The Brazilian pressure in this sport is insane. But this younger team has shown its capabilities, and I think we can have some good surprises with them in the coming years.

Only God knows why we still have a strong national team in both men's and women's competitions. Our youth teams are horrible.

I'm surprised at how consistent Poland has been in recent years, even with some very obvious weaknesses. However, for the world championship this could be a problem, just as it was at the Olympics.

I imagine this will be the most predictable VNL playoffs in recent years. Italy vs. Cuba might be interesting, but I'm not confident about how much resistance China, Japan, and Slovenia can offer.
