Iraq now knows that it will challenge Argentina, Morocco and Ukraine in Group B at Paris 2024. We will know this Friday, May 3, who, Uzbekistan or Japan, will be crowned Asian champion at the end of the final in Doha. The winner of the U-23 Asian Cup will join Group D (with Paraguay, Mali and Israel) while the fallen finalist will be placed in Group C (with Spain, Egypt and the Dominican Republic) .

How does the IOC Refugee Team fit into all this? Are they an additional quota over and above all other qualifications? If so, what about, for example, Cindy Ngamba (W75kg Boxing) who has already obtained a quota place, so presumably taking the place of another NOC?
logically these are additional quotas

two so-called "refugee" athletes qualified in Taekwondo before and none of them are here. Kimia Alizadeh found herself a buyer finally and since her name is not here I assume the IOC illegally let her transfer her quota to Bulgaria
but I wonder why former Afghan Alireza Abbasi is not in this list.
would he have represented Afghanistan?

That is awfully a lot. Looks like this whole idea got out of control a bit…
yes I find it disproportionate 10 - 15 athletes would have been enough! and besides that we reduce the wild cards to small nations

Hello everybody,
I am new to this forum - I am a huge fan of the Olympic Games and Eurovision as well. I had been to London and Rio in 2012 and 2016 - furthermore I had been to Düsseldorf 2011, Malmö 2013, København 2014, Wien 2015, Stockholm 2016 and Lisboa 2018. I follow Eurovision since 1976 closely and the Olympics since Sarajevo 1984.
I cross my fingers for the following six songs/countries to qualify from semi 1:Hrvatska, Ireland/Eire, Lietuva, Luxembourg, Polska, Slovenija
I cross my fingers for the following two songs/countries to qualify from semi 2:
Nederlanden, Schweiz/Suisse/Svizzera
My favourite TOP TEN this year:
France, Hrvatska, Ireland/Eire, Italia, Lietuva, Luxembourg, Nederlanden, Polska, Schweiz/Suisse/Svizzera, Slovenija
Welcome !! happy to finally have an Austrian member in the group!!! My name is Benjamin and I am French

The 3 male quotas are because some players got quotas on 2 events:
- Toma Junior Popov (MS, MD)- SEO Seung Jae (MD, XD)
- Vinson CHIU (MD, XD)
So, according to the last paragraph on the final table from D section the quotas go to
This, obviously, if the countries select their best athletes (as they could still select other athletes as long as they are in a qualifying position.
But I'm a bit lost on why this wikipedian gave away so many more quotas. Or any references to Australia/NZL forfaiting their singles quotas.
yes difficult to calculate the quotas I am not going to rely on Wikipedia. I have not found any information regarding releases from Australia and New Zealand. So I'm going to add them. I can't wait to find out about the Wild Cards.

What a plag for France recently.
I don't understand what's going on either. Maybe they're taking drugs to perform at home this summer, are they feeling the pressure?
