  1. Last Call: 2019 Annual TISC entering last phase. April 1, 2019.- The organizing committee of the 2019 Annual Totallympics International Song Contest informed today that the contest has entered its last phase, as jury members began to reveal their top twelve favorite entries in this edition. So far, 11 out of 38 national juries have submited their votes within the allocated time, which ends this Thursday at 24:00 GMT -6. Organizers are confident that the number of participant countries will not drop, since many jury members have clearly stated their intention to submit their vote in the next three days; still, they have already send reminders to some of the jury members to ensure that this goal is duly achieved.
  2. I think the problem is that for Eventing and Dressage 10 full teams is just too many, since those disciplines aren't that developed. I guess they should have awarded 8 team spots and 10 additional individuals in each one of these disciplines.
  3. It's just a possibility, but host federation seems to be sharing some basic info in their FB page. So far they have confirmed the arrival of some delegations today, as well as the arrival of the rest tomorrow. Let's hope they also share the draws.
  4. Great job from the Bulgarian youth squad. Congrats on their promotion. Meanwhile, Mexico just keeps getting worse each year at this category, and I think they will be relegated next year Time to get some change and throw the current family cartelcontrolling Mexican Ice Hockey federation.
  5. started its selection process for Lima Sadly current Olympic champion Virginia Trasher missed selection in women's 10m air rifle. Curiously enough, 2 foreign born athletes will represent USA in women's air pistol.
  6. I checked every entry eligibility, from the available data on the web, and as Vini said, Turkish song was part of an album released last year.
  7. Indeed, but well deserved qualification for the Canadians.
  8. Women tournament. In men's there will be a two match playoff between Chile and Colombia... if Chile loses this, it will be a huge upset.
  9. Handball +14 Sadly, Mexico lost by 2 goals to Chile, which eliminated both teams and gave Canada their ticket by virtue of goal difference (+3, MEX +1 CHI -4)
  10. And the best option won... they just selected Cali for the inaugural edition of Jr Panam Games
  11. Table Tennis +3 +3
  12. A different color & format on the first post... Shall be done by today.
  13. Starting next Tuesday, Mexican NOC will broadcast the last chance tournament for women's handball. http://www.com.org.mx/ I think the ticket will be highly contested by all teams, except Guatemala.
  14. Actually qualification tournament was held today, and according to Mexican NOC, they obtained 6 quotas out of 9 possible.
  15. Well the video was on private mode for some hours, as Bohemia reported it, so that's why I asked for support regarding another version of it.
  16. I also think it is a slightly different version of the song, but that's the singer's voice. Also you're right, this is a cover song, which has a quite interesting backstory to it. As the rules state, the cover is eligible as long as the original is, so I already requested clarification on the matter to CR Function Lee, as there is not enough information about the original's official release date.
  17. Already asked the user for his assistance with another video link.
  18. I just hope Alexa Moreno continues to be in form and get a medal in other World Cups
  19. As @LDOG said, Bolivia has very good odds of winning their first gold in Racquetball. If BVI sends McMaster to the Games they will also earn a gold medal in men's 400m hurdles. Aruba has outside chances for a medal in women's laser radial and bowling.
  20. I still think Canada's going to rank fourth... Colombia was dissapointing at home last year, and they're being challenged in their strong disciplines (weightlifting, track cycling, speed skating), so there will eb a few less medals for them that four years ago, which should not be enough to overcome the Canadian delegationhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  21. Indeed it was cruel... just hoping that, if these are the same riders were sending to Lima, at least they improve their performances. I think we have a slight chance to end in the podium in the team event if everything goes OK.
  22. He appears as being eliminated from competition.
  23. I actually think that Canadian Olympic Committee's apathy towards PanAm Games since forever (except when they've been hosts) will see them drop to third of fourth, which is a circumstance both, Brazil and Cuba could benefit from. Mexico will closely fight for that 5th spot with Colombia and Argentina. As for the other 3, Chile has been quietly improving during this cycle, only disaster could prevent Peru from reaching a top 10 finish, so that leave Venezuela to fight off Ecuador, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico for the last spot.
  24. Host Jury verdict is in. The ball passes to the World. March 13, 2019.- Another milestone in 2019 TAISC road has been reached, as the host jury confirmed their votes have been cast tonight and sent to neutral Totallympics members intoronto, LDOG and Sindo, for them to validate the results, if necessary. “This year’s vote was quite hard. Not only there were more than 38 entries that we could have all given points to, as each entry had its own identity and strengths”. jury member mrv86 told the press “In the end we could only pick 12 among them, which was no easy task, not counting that timeframe put us against the clock.” He then added: “I can assure that our final decision was a conscious one and was done in all fairness. Now all that rest for us is to invite the other members of the national juries to do the same in the next three weeks. All that rest for me to say is good luck to every single participant.” Here’s the format provided for juries to submit their votes via PM to Host Committee CEO mrv86: VOTES 12 points 11 points 10 points 9 points 8 points 7 points 6 points 5 points 4 points 3 points 2 points 1 point RESERVES 1st Reserve 2nd Reserve 3rd Reserve 4th Reserve As stated above, tomorrow marks the date in which national juries must vote during the next three weeks in order to confirm the participation of their respective entries at this year’s Grand Final. Those nations failing to submit their votes on Thursday April 4th will forfeit their participation and could not make the trip to Guadalajara, Mexico.
  25. Well you could always use an extension to your browser to allow you to see that video. But if the above doesn't work either, seems like it's a case for ,@Agger & @wumo26
